When I try to start DA:I the error message in the title appears. Does anyone have a fix for this?

This solution doesn't work for me, nor do any of the others I have found. I am not happy. I only have a few hours to play tonight, and then won't have time again for a while.

I should have known better than to pre-order.

Just went in origin and right clicked, hit repair and I'll report back when its done if that worked.

Its funny I haven't PC gamed in years because of things like this, but reading this thread instantly raised my anxiety level like back then when this stuff happened constantly.  Weird how that works.

I've been trying to find a fix as well but my error was a little different.  I had "Invalid License: Reason Code=Invalid Cypher (0x0006)

I saw a post about a similar problem on the Dead Space forums, the only other solution they offered there was to uninstall and reinstall...but holy crap this is not a small game..I really don't want to have to uninstall something and reinstall something this big.

Download MSVCP110.dll from http://www.dll-files....shtml?msvcp110  and it will work. Don't try any of the Answers EA solutions, they NEVER work and you end dealing with incompetent staff that thinks that you can't read or follow directions

 

just download the zipped archive, the exe will give you more trouble plus is not free

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work.

I also have this particular error.  Tried both the DLL and vc redist solutions.  Neither worked.  I don't have time to mess around reinstalling just for that to also not work.
