Apparently the Dragon Age Keep is incapable of saving the appearence of Hawk but he is shown in the trailer, so whats going to happen? will the game allow you to customize him at the opening or something? If I am forced to use default hawk words will not describe how incredibly pissed I will be.

I am getting it for PS4 and so Iv had to work my ass off to get the files off of my Xbox 360 in order to load them up onto the Keep in time for inquisitions launch.

Here's what I've gathered from some of the spoiler tidbits: You are only stuck with the default Hawkes if you do not use a custom world state. If you use a custom world, you will be able to re-create your Hawke in-game.

 

It would be a right out mess if the game had to re-create Hawke from DA2 to DAI without player input. Imaging the sheer backlash from people when the features are off!

So if you create a editable tapestry in the keep it will let you create your own hawk? You dont need to upload your old stories straight from the games though right? not everyone still owns there old copies and I am having a crap tun of issues with my Xbox account when I try to update it too (( cause of problems on my end )) so if you just re-create your old story it will still let you?

Don't worry! Uploading a custom Warden or Hawke just allows you to keep a record of your heroes. Uploading them to the Keep will not impact Inquisition, so you're all good

If you meet Hawke in DAI, the game will check if you have a custom world from the Keep. THAT is what triggers face customization for Hawke.

Any state from the Keep will do. If you use the default non-keep state, you will get a default Hawke, as there is no custom data.

What if we use a custom world state with a default Hawke?

If you use the keep, then you will still be able to select the default face for your Hawke's gender if you wish.

@Mike_Laidlaw If we didn't sync our data do we get the default Hawke? Since the syncing broke for me.

Syncing does not matter. DAI checks for a non-default world state.

 

 

Also your Hawke appearance may or may not be able to recreate in their new engine if Hawke hair options are the same as Human Inquisitor.
