It looks like it wants to launch, then I briefly see a BioWare splash and then it tells me to look for the Saving circle... then nothing. Black. No movement for several minutes. I can only close by 3-finger salute.

Bummer.

Exact same problem here, am trying to fix but not sure what the problem is, computer specs seem well past the minimum for the game.

Having the same issue. I start to hear some music after the Bioware thing but then it just fades away and sits on a black screen with only the mouse pointer to stare at.

All mine does is momentarily load a black screen, then closes on it's own. Computer exceeds minimum requirements

Same issue here. I see the BioWare splash screen,  it tells me what the save looks like, then the screen goes black, and eventually the game crashes.

I read on the forum the issue could be because the game isn't allowed to run on dual core processors? Mine is an Intel Pentium G 3258 OC'd to 4.5 Ghz, also I have an R9 270 and 8 gb ram.. only problem I can see is the processor because its a dual core chip

Yeah, the problem is happening for dual core CPUs. Some from quad cores...

That really sucks! I don't how a system that can run almost any other gamer out there  comfortably should even struggle to start running DAI!! I haven't been able to see the main menu yet!

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. I get to the splash screen and then I just get a black screen with a mouse pointer. I can move the mouse pointer around but that's about it.

I have a quad core, but I get this issue anyhow as well. So no idea what could be the problem at this point

I have no idea what's going on, but it stinks. I once got the game to run in a window, and I was watching the title screen where it says click to continue. When I clicked, it crashed. That's the furthest I've gotten so far in trying to load the game several dozen times. *sigh* I'm hoping it's a problem related to everyone trying to launch the game at the same time, and not some greater problem. I'd really like to be playing this right about now.

Same here. gets to the logo screen then goes black with only the pointer on the screen. Any ideas on how to make it work anyone?

I really really hope that's it. That's what I was thinking. This stinks. Mine is just opening a black screen for a couple of seconds and closing.

Well apparently I have a high end dual core, but the game won't run anything that isn't a quad. Refund time.

if you start the game and switch to another program, like chrome, DA starts in a window. gets to the screen where it says click to continue, and when you click --> crash

Having the exact same issue. Hit play, goes to load and then immediately blacks out and closes. Really hope someone figures out a solution! Was looking forward to trying this tonight!

Haven't tried single player yet, but I've tried mp 5 times now. Loads to a black screen each time, I can hear my teammates, just can't get past the black screen. Had to end the process each time.

Running i5 4670k so it's not a cpu issues. Will try again tomorrow, maybe better luck.

I am having the same issue. I click to start the game and you can see the hard drive reading then NOTHING!...nothing even comes up on the screen to indicate the game is loading. It does basically nothing.....GRRRRR

I have an Amd Phenom II x4 965 with 8 megs....no luck loading here at all.

Also noticed that my CPU runs at 100% load when in the black screen, I can hear my cooling system in overdrive! Exactly how it sounds when i stress test my CPU on OCCT!

I can't get past the title screen either. I press" Click to continue" then it loads EA servers and freezes then the music shuts off and nothing happens...
