Favorite pair for the Rescue on the fort ? 

I jus begin to do it   agian with different parties...
Until now Morrigan and Leliana are very funny and Alistair with Dog too (Though Dog must do everything ) 

Which is your favorite ?

Wynne and Morrigan are also fun, and so is Leliana partnered with either of the other two women.

How is it determined who your rescuers will be? And I assume since I had Alistair with me the first time, that it was up to us?

Once you're in the prison, if you have Alistair, you can choose the dialogue option that someone will come break us out. Then you get to pick which two come for you.


I do have to admit, The Broma bothers are the best. Though Sten and dog is priceless!!

Zevran and Oghren. The Broma Brothers rule all. And they are twins, even. Not identical ones, but still. The family resemblance is uncanny.

Zevran and Oghren, definitely! They really made me laugh.

Any combination of the three female companions is amusing too, with their Chantry priestess act. Dog works well too with just about anyone.

I tried Alistair and Morrigan today but it wasn't as good as I would like considering they have a realy interesting banter. Morrigan is a terrible liar by the way. Just throwing that out because people tend to believe she's a master at lying. Leliana and Zevran are obiously the best choices at having them bluff, they never fail.

Anyway, my favorite would have to be Zevran and Oghren as the famoius Broma brothers . Come to think of it, Zevran plus anyone is great. He claims that he's delivering something of intimate nature... hilarious if you have Morrigan/Leliana/Wynne standing right next to him.

In my last two plays, I did the self-breakout. But I have watched some of the combinations online and have to give props to the Oghren and Sten circus act. Though, I'd like to see how Zevran and Morrigan would work together. I think I'll try that one on my current playthrough.

If you don't take Alistair, you are stuck in the cell, with a creepy molester-man to talk to in the cell next to you.

I will be honest I escaped on my own on my first playthrough because I thought "Waiting is a bad ideal" I was afraid they would torture me or something, but after seeing what your companions try to break you out I may try it, especially with Sten.

I'm just about at the stage in my play through and was thinking I would have Shale and someone, maybe Shale and Morrigan?

Zev and Oghren, in the easy first place. Ya can't beat "I'm the pretty one" coming from a perpetually drunk dwarf.



Any of the three girls in combination makes up my second favorite. It's worth it to do that once just to see Morrigan in a Chantry girl outfit, making a faux prayer to the Maker.

Travisco_nabisco, Shale is the only companion you cannot take, I guess it is difficult to make believe anything about a Golem, guards are thick as wall of brick but not that thick.
