If you are having this issue specifically when you change some settings and the game takes a massive dump:

I found the (or just a potential) fix to it.
1. The default save location for a lot of Bioware graphical settings is in My Documents, so for me I had to go: C:\Users\Micah\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\Save
2. There are two files, open ProfileOptions_profile as a text file.
3. This sucks as apparently when typing this out, no one thought to hit enter, but read through all the settings and if there is something that is greater than 1, change it to 1, and this will reset all your graphics to the lowest setting.
4. Get in game (Yay), reset everything to their defaults (yay), restart, go nuts with your Lesbian Qunari Rogue or whatever the hell you're doing.
If this doesn't work... then crap. This is how I got it to run for me.
