don't know if this will fix it for anyone but it did for me. someone who helped me said it might be faulty wireing so i moved my audio wire around a little bit and now it works

Switching my AVR to 2 channel stereo worked for me.  If you have that option on your TV or receiver, I'd give it a try.

I have this very same problem for Xbox one and I have tried everything to no avail, i din't pay 70 dollars to have no sound in my cutscenes. Need help.
