For some reason I feel like it's a 60 with Mantle. I can't tell, because using Mantle makes Fraps stop working for some reason, but it's much much smoother than DX11.

 

Does anyone know if this is so? If not, no biggie there's a fix here.

Apps like Fraps and such won't be able to capture games using Mantle since they usually only know how to get the DX render.

if you'd like to check your framerate, though, you can do so with the ingame FPS counter. Hit tilde to open the dev console and enter "PerfOverlay.DrawFps 1" to toggle on. '0' toggles off.

We lock framerate to 30 in cutscenes
We had issues with the scenes desyncing without the lock
Hoping to remove the restriction
 
We aren't doing it to "make it more cinematic". Purely technical issues.

Pretty sure he was responding to people, rather than taking a swipe.

I appreciate this. it's encouraging to have some feedback, regardless of what it's regarding.

 

Edit: And I also just noticed today, as well, that you included the dev console in the standard game (without requiring any file changes). Good for you.

I know, probably was in jest, since that "make it more cinematic" reason was Ubisoft explanation of the 30fps lock on AC Unity
