OK, first let me start off with - I *like* the game (so far - I've just finished the proloque).  It looks great and the story and VA is good, but seriously . . .

Minor stuff  -

Went for a very detailed and 'real-life' looking world, then our weapons stick to our backs with magic velcro.

I fell off a bridge and ended up in a completely different set of clothes.

Tactical camera is crap unless you're in a melee scrum.  Can't zoom out far enough to see much in the way of ranged attackers.  Regular camera is *better*, but it has a tendency to default to horizontal.

Major

1.  The UI.

Seriously - can't mouse through options on the ESC menu?  You can click on a selected option, but not scroll through them except with the arrow keys.  I mean its only something that PC's have been able to do since. . .  well since the mouse was invented.  Its just sort of expected that you're not going to throw away 30+ years of UI convention without a damn good replacement.

Moving through inventory and, oh lord, the skill menus is painful.  I still can't see what the skills at the bottom of the magic trees do - they're cut off and I can't seem to get the mouse *or* keyboard to move the tree.

Also - no option to switch between select and mouselook?  You have to hold the 2nd mouse button down to use mouselook.  I know this game was developed for the console and the control scheme is gamepad focused, but its not like you have to reinvent the wheel to port it over.  Again 30+ years of UI convention, ignored.

2.  Go through the intro splash screen to get to a screen that has, literally, no other purpose than to make me 'click to continue'.  *Then* the game logs onto the Origin server so that I can *finally* get to the main menu - to choose a single player game.  How about we a) get rid of that 'click to continue' screen - since it does nothing, and B) don't log into anything (and waste my time) until I'm ready to play MP.  Look - I know Origin is as much DRM as content delivery.  That's fine.  But your biggest competitor - Steam - doesn't do this crap.

-------------------------------------------------------

That Ding! Achievement sound the Origin overlay makes - does anyone know how to turn that off.

And does anyone know how to get the convos to recognize that my character is a dude.  Well, I'm pretty sure he's a dude.  He's an elf, and its hard to tell with them.  Everytime a sex specific bit of dialogue comes up its either playing *both* pieces at the same time or defaults to female pronouns.
