I know every game launch has its hiccups, but I have to admit I'm pretty disappointed with this one, given the complete lack of any mention of any glitches by any of the reviews I read.

 

After only 1 hour of playing, I experienced the following bugs:

 

1) stuck on black screen when trying to launch. Thankfully, rebooting my machine seemed to fix this issue.

 

2) in the beginning cutscenes, there were a couple times when two lines of dialogue were being played over top of one another.

 

3) weirdest one yet, at the cutscene in the beginning when you're going to the rift with Cassandra, just before the first combat when you running on the bridge and then it explodes and you and cassandra fall down, PRIOR to the fall I'm wearing one set of clothing, and AFTER we get up to initiate combat for the first time, all of a sudden I'm now wearing a completely different outfit. Also, upon accessing my inventory, I have a couple pieces of clothing/armour that only rogues can wear. Except I'm a mage.

 

I'm somewhat glad that I decided to start a new game of DA: Origins while waiting for DA: Inquisition to come out. Looks like I'm going to keep playing that until this stuff gets cleared up.

Those items that only Rogues can wear - those are what you're wearing in the *previous* cutscenes.  If you're not a rogue then you lose the ability to ear them and are wearaing whatever default clothes that class gets when its not wearing armor.  I assume rogues still get to keep wearing them but its just as likely they get stripped and have to re-equip.

 

I don't know *why* they did it like that.  But there are several problems with the character creation start.  For example, you start out with a preset character, which you get to see for a few seconds before jumping into the CC - *then* the cutscene continues with your new face.
