Okay so I'm a little pissed off. I spent a lot of time prepping the Keep file and locking it for download to the PS4. I put the disc in for the first time tonight and get no option to link with my own Origins account. Instead I get asked a security question which I assume was related to Origins log in. I had no choice but to answer it, so I did. I tried to cancel, hoping it would prompt me to enter my account information and it never did. Now the game auto logs into the default origins account and I've uninstalled the game, blocked auto log in and anything else I can think of. Nothing is working and I have yet to even find an option to log in to an Origins account of my choosing. My PSN account is NOT linked to any EA games, so this shouldn't be an issue. The Mass Effect games had a built in manual log in to the servers.

 

I waited in line to get this damn game and I can't even play it! :/

PS... I can play it, but only with a new file and no keep transfer.

ea support could link your account for you.  I had to get mine changed around after a clusterfuck recently.

Thanks man. How would that help if I can't even choose a log in on PS4 though? Problem isn't my actual account, it's that the PS4 doesn't allow me to log into an Origin account of my choice or manually. I suppose they could potentially unlink me and I do something different with security question prompt?

Yeah I think they unlink the Origin account your PS4 account is linked to and link the one you want to it. I used the word link too much

I used the EA live chat.  I told him my accounts weren't linking correctly.  I gave him the email account I wanted/needed.  I gave him the PSN name I wanted linked to that email account.. He did whatever he does and after that everything worked flawlessly online and on the playstation.

Ahhhh. Makes perfect sense. So not just unlink, but also link to PSN. That should definitely solve it. Well I started at 55 min wait live chat, now 25. So seems I'm almost there. Appreciate the help fellas . I look forward to spending time on these forums discussing the game with you all. The 3 year wait is over!

Wow. This is some BS. After an hour wait... he says he can't help me and I need to wait for a specialist to get back to me? I don't get it! No phone support in itself= bad customer service. I can't even play the game I was so excited to play. If this isn't resolved quickly, I don't know that I will ever buy another EA game.
