I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here but I wasn't sure where to post it. I am trying to use a downloaded ME1 savegame to pick up ME1 about 3/4 through (I messed up the Kaiden romance) and I can't get the new savegame to appear in-game. When I put it in the file with my other saves, it just doesn't appear in my Career files as one of the Save options. I tried renaming the new file to exactly what the original file is named as and it still doesn't work. Does anyone have any idea what this problem is and how I can fix it?

AFAIK even renamed save files will still appear in their original career (so you have to switch careers to access the new save).

 

If you just want to (not) have Kaidan's romance, I would suggest trying out the gibbed savegame-editor.
