So, ignoring the many issues I'm having getting past the title screen, when I get past the title screen, I can play just fine. So I get into single player, I'm going along, everythings going smoothly until I get to the first level up screen, Where this happens:

 

Is this supposed to be happening? Because that message showing up seems kind of off.

yes once you get further into the prologue other features of the hero menu open up and that message goes way.
