So I created my human male mage, sat through the opening sequence marveling at the lovely hooded and layered leather clothing I was wearing. Then when Leliana speaks to me she speaks in two voices at once: one saying 'him' and the other saying 'her', and the subtitles refer to me as a 'her'.
Then Cassandra does it too: both voice overs playing at once when my gender forms part of the dialogue.
I didn't think too much of it, a day one glitch I thought. Then when we get to the first combat (falling through the bridge) my toon stares at a longbow and then my clothing magically falls off and I'm left standing in a white leather suit that definitely looks more 'mage-y' and less 'rogue-y'.
Looking at my inventory I see I have a couple of pieces of rogue outfit I can't equip and a couple of daggers with no names.
So far I've not seen any more signs of this after around an hour of play, so fingers crossed everyone know realises I am a male mage and not a hermaphrodite rogue.
Has anyone else had this kind of schizophrenic start up, or is it just me?
