What a mess.

Seriously, what a mess. It's like the combat gameplay took a step backwards to become some kind of muddled, half-playable, poor workflow hybrid of DA:O and an early prototype of DA:2 without all the refinements.

Autoattacking is gone as far as I can tell. Mashing the R key to attack. Occasionally slipping and moving into the nigh unusable tactical mode when your finger hits the T key. Manual targeting instead of tab targeting.

No walk toggle, making positioning exceptionally awkward when just moving about town.

Random loot strewn about the landscape and no auto-loot option.

Inventory management is back, again, only this time with extra tedium and the pain of outfitting your companions.

An annoyingly, excessively convoluted method to craft and upgrade items, (seriously, three or four different steps using several different workstations? Could you make crafting any MORE tedious, DA development team?) but without any easy way to compare items.

Sure, it's acceptable graphically. Especially in terms of the environment. But character models and textures? They need work. Particularly when it comes to hair.
