I wanted to separate this issue out of the overall thread a bit due to the specific nature of this issue.

 

I ran GPU Z with my 2 crossfire HD 7970 Ghz cards

 

I noticed I had alot better frame rate with 1 card.

 

The GPU load rates for my second card were constantly hitting the 2-5% range 

 

This is WITH the latest AMD driver which to have a profile for the game

 

In general im getting 50-60 avg on single card and 30-40 on dual.

 

 

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

 

after a clean install of beta drivers, mantle becomes selectable

 

This DOES increase the GPU load, but breaks a few things aswell

 

load times are long and it doesnt seem to care that vert sync is enabled

 

still no where near 90+% utilization.

 

will test mantle single card later

 

aside from crashing, it seems catalyst can not make a profile for the .exe (disabling the second card this way wasnt working)

 

so I globally disabled crossfire

 

mantle with 1 card was lower fps but still decent avg 60 fps where it was 70/80 (apparently with 60 hz vert sync?) with 2

 

fps used in game console overlay

I'm having this exact same issue with my Crossfired Sapphire 7950 OC cards. Hopefully this gets patched or someone can come up with a fix.

Run in exclusive full screen. Reported that in border-less SLI doesnt work either.

Thank you, running in fullscreen and not windowed borderless this fixed the issue for me. Now I'm getting about 5-10 fps better with crossfire than the single card, wish it was a bit better but hopefully with successive patches and driver updates it will improve.
