Isn't it funny how we in Europe pay more for the same game and have to play it later than N.Americans?

Origin is a POS platform when comes down to prices. I cant imagine for the life of me why is it so high and WHY WOULD ANYONE want to buy overpriced product when you can get it almost 30% less from legit 3rd party, even before launch date (as preorder)...

I got mine for 48,90€ + 2,90€ shipping. What I find funny, is that a physical copy of the game is cheaper than a digital download ![]()

I paid 80€ for the PS4 Deluxe edition at Gamestop here in Italy. It's 10€ more expensive than a Deluxe edition should be. Usually a standard game is 60€ and the Limited is 70€. Don't get why this time is even more expensive....probably for the VAT taxes...damned be the State here....taxing us like madmen.
I don't mind playing later. I hardly can play during week days due to work. So actually a Friday release is the best thing for me and by the time we EUs get to play the game, our US friends will have already beta-tested it for us ![]()

When did they send your key @grombie?
My friend bought our keys on the 17th, I think. He got them on the 18th when they were released. You should get them instantly as they have the keys in stock.

I wouldn't say it's funny ha ha I'd say it's funny that you guys put up with those insane taxes. As for the release dates I just don't get that. I mean I'd understand if date lines or whatever made it where you guys got it a few hours later, but I don't get why you get the same exact game days, weeks, or months later. It makes no sense.

Yup, lol. Glad we are getting it later, with all the bugs and glitches posts showing up. The funniest one is the gender glitch
.

As an American I do find that funny yes.
There's actually loads of products that cost the same pound as dollar. I've no idea why import taxes from where they come from perhaps.

Another one of these posts. Seriously, get over it, it's a few days. As for the price, in Europe sales taxes are already included in the price, which is not the case in the USA.
Btw, i live in Europe.
Everybody: read the post I quoted.

Blame agreements with retailers. As for money. 69.99 usd is before taxes where 69.99 euros is with taxes

Please remember that in Europe (or at least in the EU) the value tax are included in the 69.99 € (euros). In the US, the value tax are added after the sale. And please also note that the reason games release on Tuesday in the US is because that's when stores in the US got their stock. And in Europe stores got their stock on Friday.
