Here is my character, took me a long time to come up with this face, I am proud of her...
She's so puppy eyed.
No, you won't get my swo... Oh, alright.

I know, she's adorable, isn't she?
I feel like "getting the short end of the ugly stick" would mean the opposite of what you're saying.
I'll say on thing that bothers me is that in the character creator you character looks sooo much different, I made what I thought was a decent looking female and in game her make up made her look like Mi-Mi from the drew carry show (or a clown if you never saw that show lol) I had to go back and scale the makeup way back lol.
I really dont like editing the face much I try to take one of the presets and mod it slightly, otherwise I just end up making circus freaks.
Now what I really want is to be able to edit the body, I mean I cant be the only one who wants and inquisitor with a little backside and boost to her bust lol
That was the case for me even back in Origins. I remember when I was trying to make a particular face and was happy in the CC. When I got in the game and started seeing facial expressions, he had a "big dumb guy" look because of his huge chin.
The problem I find is a character you find quite nice in the creator turns into Bride of Frankenstein once in-game!
More a facial animation programming issue methinks.
Another problem they've had since 2009. They just keep recycling the CC and it's still almost as broken. I think it has a lot to do with poor lighting issues in the CC. You end up with a character that looks different than what it did in the CC.
The male inquisitors weren't any better.

Well the are a little, just because they have their own animations, female toons just reuse the male animations
Its really annoying when im watching my female inquisitor and im thinking stop walking around and moving like your a guy for **** sake lol

hmm, I have a female elf, and she does move around like a male at all. Tried it on Cassandra as well, and she most definitely does not have male movement at all either. What the heck are you talking about? Is your game broken or something?

Have you seen her sit down yet? My female character sits down with her legs wide open and her arm draped across one leg. You know....how no woman actually sits in real life ever. She also stands hunched like an ape with a broken back, and moves like a gorilla in some cut scenes. Not in game though, in game she sashays like she's on a catwalk in Milan.

these are the kinds of things im talking about, also haven't tried a female elf yet, they might be different
They all do it. They just slapped the female image over the male mesh most of the time.

I know but it still drives me nuts, its sexist I tells ya!

I'd like to see a game where female walking cycles are the default, and male characters walk with hip sways. I'd have fun laughing at all the dudes who who complain about that on top of the not enough "hot" girls to romance whining.

OMG that would just be too funny lol
This topic is still a thing, smh. I thought it was proven that you could make really good female Inquisitors in the CC. ![]()
Nova Lavellan disagrees:

you can if you dont care about the body lol...

The bodies?
The bodies are hot.
It is easy to make a pretty girl, especially human one. Male elves are anouther story though. )))
Here are my Trevelyan and two Lavellans.

Oooh is it time to share this pic again? I think it is!Have you seen her sit down yet? My female character sits down with her legs wide open and her arm draped across one leg. Yeah, it's horrible. 'Oh hey, a cutscene is starting' makes me cringe inwardly, because I know my character will walk like a weird stiff animated golem-thing. And if they're not human, their hands are going to clip through their pelvis with every step, too.
Making human males is so satisfying and fun in DAI
I preferred my first character but I did not take any photos. This is my current Mage Trevelyan.

Darker shot I liked:
I'll get around to making a female character some day...
Maybe after my human male templar chantry zealot...
or human male rogue selfish jerk...
or human male mage version of Vivienne...
Help...
Dumb question incoming.
Is there a relatively easy way to get a shot of my Inquisitor up on this site if I'm playing on an xbone? I'd like to show off get feedback on some of mine, but I'd rather not rely on a crappy photo from my phone.
Just to be on topic, I find the hardest thing about female character is getting the eye makeup to look right. I kind of wish there was something like the Sims 3 had where you could choose the form of the makeup (I don't know what I'm talking about really) before adjusting the color. Like maybe I want bolder eyeliner or some shadow beneath the eye. Aside from that, the only real issue I have is that sometimes the area around the mouth protrudes too much despite what I do with the sliders.
