You're right there. I hadn't tried a female elf at the point that I posted, and I guess that would be the way to go. It seems that elves have wider faces, and if you can figure out the jaw controls it is quite possible.

 

 

 

 

I don't know about that. I haven't tried with a human yet, but it seems pretty easy to create a heart shaped face with an elf.

 

 

 

 

This CC seems to do strong jaws really really well. But I guess if you're trying to create doll-like and delicate it might be a bit tougher. I might suggest an elf if you're going for delicate, though. All of the races seem to have their own characteristic "look" this time around.

 

As for brows, I did notice that they look either really plucked or really bushy in the CC, but I ended up loving the ones I picked. Perhaps the limitation on moving them has to do with the need to emote the faces? The PC is much more expressive than in previous games.

She's nice, and looks a bit sad or maybe a deep thinker with the down-turned eyes.

 

The mouth-editor is a bit to blame there though with most of the mouths often being a bit flat or downturned. Where's the smile slider?

This one, so far, best represents attractive to me that I got out of the CC.  I like it, but it is not what I was going for, it just seemed the only thing that worked.  The controls provided are pretty good but there is a fundamental problem with the mesh, YMMV obviously.  Its all subjective, but I do understand what the OP is saying.

I'm impressed with some inquisitors here... it took me one hour to bring something acceptable for me. I quit the game more than once driven by "rage"

 

I'm still not very convinced about my dalish elf, but I have grown fond of her -more or less. I'll try to post an image later, although she pales compared to some of the examples here!

haha, her lips ended up being glossier than i wanted them to, which also makes them look bigger but there isnt anything i can do about it. Plus everyone in DAI looks like theyve had botox, very shiny, but not everyone who has full lips, has it through surgical means though- and i was being tongue-in-cheek, she is faaar from ugly by conventional standards.

By my lights, both my male inquisitors and my female inquisitors are equally attractive... but YMMV. It kinda  depends on your own standards of beauty and your CC luck.

You don't have to keep to strictly human proportions if you want an elfy-looking elf, but having enormous doll-like eyes is still going to look strange in a game populated by people with normal-looking eyes. And eye makeup just makes the eyes look even bigger.

there are human females irl with large eyes and some with very full lips, Irina Shayk, melissa theariu Anne hathaway, Ariana Grande, Angelina Jolie, aishwarya rai, candice swanepoel, doutzen kroes, adriana lima and many others. Granted they are all actresses and models     My chars proportions are relatably human, unlike many of the other creations around this forum, it just so happens that only 0.001% of females have them. Her eyes arent even that large. Even in this very thread and in the char customization part of the forum, lots of people make weird looking characters with large and odd eye sizes and proportions with makeup that makes their characters proportions look even odder. Im sensing some bizarre form of resentment from certain people here   Feminine and beautiful women can be strong and capable too, nobody calls into question all the hunky guys that are posted, but as soon as a classically feminine beauty is introduced there have to be "suggestions" and accusations of surgery from bitter people. Homely dudes and chicks arent the only ones that can be "strong", despite what some of them they like to tell themselves!

The only thing that stands out about her is how much better looking she is than everybody else in the game. Im the one playing my game and she doesnt stand out and look "odd". Plus Bioware has given most of the elves that weird nose thing, and largish eyes so i dont know where you are getting this from.

according to DA lore elves have large eyes and are considered highly attractive to humans, this is my version of an "elf with large eyes that is considered highly attractive to humans".

It looks great in the CC but I'm curious to know how happy you are with her in game - outside of cut-scenes?

I found that this eyebrow choice for example (it's the last one, isn't it?) often makes it look in game as though the char has no eyebrows at all.

Also, while a lot of eye-shadow/liner looks great in CC that look somehow doesn't seem to translate well into the game.

I think more hair choices would help...some of them are just....bad. Let's hope for some mods....soon.
