"WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS?"
I find it way easier to make a good looking elf female than a human one, or I just think that because I have some sort of elf ear fetish and have not realized, one of the two.
@ leaguer of one:
Your Qunari is quite similar to mine.....if I could get my stupid picture post function to work, I'd show you. I would have posted her long before this if not for that. Female Qunari definitely have the capacity to be pretty, horns or no horns!
Some of the female celebrity sliders are really dead on. To say it's impossible to create an attractive female seems factually incorrect.
Female elves are pretty difficult, though. I haven't fond one I like better than any of the human sliders yet. There's like, one good archetypal face that female elves can get and everyone uses it. All of the good looking female elf sliders are like 99% matches of each other.
I'd really, really like to find a way to trick the game into thinking a human is an elf. I want to experience the elf story, but I just can't find a face I like.
But they're supposed to be masculine and ugly, what's the problem?
*Groan* Why does everyone and their mother go with the Skrillex hair style on their Inquisitor? I'm sorry, but this needs to cease. I can't take this mimesis breakage any longer. The hair style itself looks like it is better suited on some guy in a rave in downtown LA rather than in a game with a medieval fantasy setting.
youre not the only one, ive become much better at stopping myself though
ok, one more from me!
and last lest i turn into a spammer
Your girl is cute and I can see how she would grow on you.
My turn.

I can't believe it took me 8 pages to realize that the OP just remade his/her Jersey shore type toons into a male version from the DAI CC
Another one, somewhat this seems better. Lights and angle tend to impact Inquisitor looks much more than before...
Behold Carmelia Lavellan:

Game over, I win ![]()

For an elf she does look very human. Half-elf perhaps?
Or maybe blonde: I might try a dwarf to see if they can be pretty.
Again, all good looking female elves are pretty much the same. There's only one good way to make a female elf look like in my opinion.
Aside from hair, tattoos, eye color, etc., they're all similar (except the third, that one is pretty different). Same face shape. Same cheekbones. Same nose.
Maverick, now that you mention it... all 4 of them have the exact same eyebrow choice too!
I guess you are at least part right there. To be fair though there are some strange eyes and odd face shapes and noses and eyebrows and hairstyles in the CC.
You only really have the option of about 3 good eyes, 2, or maybe more face shapes, maybe 5 noses - but some need serious fixing up, like 4 eyebrows (seriously why are there 25 atrocious ones), and maybe 5 hairstyles that are attractive and feminine.
But in the final analysis I do have to concede your point though.
/me goes to the corner and licks wounds.
Inquisition's CC is a bit hard to use, tbh. At least it takes time to get used to. (and the hair options... jesus christ. i would pay money for a hair pack. not much, but... some.)
But... idk, if males are easier to make, then I guess that's fine -- in DA:O, it was really hard to make attractive men, whereas women where easier. And if that turns around now, it's fine by me.
// and more tattoos. i want more tattoos.
Tbh It's probably the first Bioware game where I could create a decent looking female. More hair options would be nice though, there are like 2 female hair styles. Oh, and afro haircut for males would be nice.
Did you try using the drag features?
If you think humans and elves are hard, try a dwarf.
I have to hand it to anybody who can do a half-attractive dwarf. The CC fights you all of the way.
You may not believe the amount of min-maxing I had to do on the sliders to counteract all the bulbous facial features, but I'm pretty happy with the result.
The eyes in the editor are so plain that I ended up using "Asian looking" eyes and stretched them out as far as I could.

Hey I'd date her if she grew a couple of feet taller.
I did it for the challenge so I probably won't actually use it.

my char is an elf ^^ and she's darn cute, but i know what you mean. I also used that one face shape that almost everybody uses, until i tried the last one at the end of the slider, and hit the gold spot. Many of the elf shapes and heads will make your char look 12-15 or are extremely gaunt

she's cute!, you did a good job. Was it really that much of a struggle? ![]()

does my elf look the same? i edited the color so that the tattoos on the face are invisible, but she's an elf. Im not really a fan of the face tattoo thing, and i agree about the hairstyles being horrible. They also look much bigger on elves, cuz they were clearly made with human heads in mind.
I think people overdo it with the jaw and chin being too thin and eyes big like in anime.
