Which...is why I made the suggestion I did. In messing with the CC I made a few characters where I emphasized the features that most people think of as beautiful in women (large eyes, petite nose, delicate jaw) and I found I just couldn't play with them because they looked so out of place. Especially with makeup that emphasized the eyes even more. It was personal preference, of course. Lots of people like playing as bombshells. But in Inquisition I found myself toning it down a lot (no makeup, smaller eyes, strong jaw, stubborn chin) and vastly preferring the outcome. Again, personal preference.
This is exactly what I did, although I learned it in DAO with morphs.
I was exaggerating female features which are considered pretty, the eyes, the nose, the lips. And in the end all my characters looked like plastic aliens in comparison to party members. I began making the features more human - larger jaw, smaller eyes, etc., and voila they turned into real beauties.
I did make a mistake in Inquisition by giving my character too full lips, the CC look was okay but in-game every time I saw a cutscene and particular lightning the word 'botox' was the first thing that came to mind. I was too lazy to reroll because that was my 4th attempt. I'm attached to her too much but I would gladly change some features if we had Mirror of Transformation.
That said I like playing bombshells, but even bombshells are mostly naturally proportioned. Their eyes and lips aren't as big as they seem on the pictures, their cheeks aren't as defined. There is always a possibility to overexaggerate their features and create an unrealistic alien instead of a really pretty girl. Its certainly possible to create both in Inquisition's cc.
