Im a huge fan of tactical combat on RPG, thats why I love games like DAO and Divinity. 

 

So, Im trying very hard to like the tactical view on Inquisition, but it just doesnt seem right. I have a gamepad and with it the game is a lot more fluid and (heresy) fun...

 

Probably I will abandon the tactical view soon, what is a shame, because, IMO, a good tactical combat is way better than a great action combat with gamepad.

 

My question is: How do you play it and why? If you are enjoying the tactical combat in Inquisition, did you change something on the configuration?

Gamepad and tactical.

Gamepad and mostly action.

Mostly action with tactical sometimes. In Origins I used tactical sometimes just for fun. Many maps (like Dead Trenches) were more fun to explore with tactical. And this time I suppose I'll have to give the controller a go. This game looks like it was designed more for controllers.
