I was bugged with this problem and looking on the net if people had the same issue with Battlefield 4 (that uses the same engine and people had more time to dabble with it) I found this fix that for me seems to work fine.
You must download the Visual Studio 2012 update 4:

P.S: This is another issue than setting your graphic details too high. In this case the error will appear at the start of the game, you cannot either enter it (the solution for this is to remove the save profiles in Documents so you revert to default). The DirectX error I'm talking about appears randomly after a while you play.
I hope this will help. For me it seemed to resolve the issue; I'm playing now from about 4 hours with no DirectX crashes.
