Wow talk about being thrown into the game world. Wishing there was a pratice area to understand combat rather then fighting demons first thing.

 

OK granted i haven't played that long. And it is way to early to think i am familiar with the controls yet but,

 

Combat seems awkward and slow and a spam fest for skills.

 

The moving and looting with the left mouse feels really odd.

 

Trying to attack enemies while i stand still and not close the distance automatically feels wrong to.

 

I have yet to find the ability to "Search" for items.

 

Any other melee players out there that have gotten used to the combat yet?

Yep, keyboard and mouse are pretty awkward. If possibly, play with a gamepad.

 

What is weird is that even the tactical view works better with gamepad.

I honestly think that the best melee experience is to be had with a controller rather than keyboard + mouse.

Yeah I tried each class briefly and I think I agree, mage feels much better with KBM. I just felt I kept missing my attacks and hitting thin air when I tried melee.
