I am guessing any form of tactics are mostly meant to be thrown out the window for this installment? That is the impression I am getting so far as I play as the game seems to be fighting me tooth and nail whenever I try to do anything of the sort.
A total removal of the ability to program the AI in any real capacity and the tactical camera is fairly ass(They don't follow your orders reliably anyway). They also won't hold position no matter how many times I tell them to do so. The moment a fight starts, every single person just rushes face first into danger, without any regard to their own safety. It seems the only way to get anything done is to do everything manually but even that is a huge hassle, since you have to use the gimped tactical camera whereas in the other games you could at least queue up commands and click to move.
I am playing on Nightmare because that is the level I used for prior Dragon Age games but the level of control just seems...not there at all. Control your character and just pray for the rest of your party, really. Of course, even controlling your character manually is not nearly as responsive as it used to be.
Am I missing something? Someone help me out here.
