I'm leveling a Keeper at the moment and have her at 10, barrier/cooldown spec atm. Definitely seeing too many archers out there and not enough melee.

Inquisition hasn't been out for 12 hours yet.  Have some

patience as people have fun using totally new characters

in an unknown environment.

 

It's a great time to experiment with tank/support/ranged/melee,

since no one will really take elitist attitudes very seriously

(everyone is struggling hard with "routine").

 

Queue up with a few of your ME3 contacts, communicate

about approach beforehand, use chokepoints, and probably

coordinated kite.

Same thing. Can get into the MP options and all that, but as soon as I try to join or host I sit at the black screen with the loading icon endlessly spinning.

I'm not sure what about my op was elitist. Most threads here looking for others are for the xbox O.o

 

And Routine is pretty rough, almost guaranteed not to succeed with fresh lvl 1s. It's just how the dungeon was made. First completion was with a bunch of keepers and a tank.

I'd suggest checking later this afternoon (work/school, so probably

limited people available at this point).  And pardon me, I did not mean

to suggest that your particular post was offensive.  More a general

observation.  Enjoy this period for what it is.  Gear levels and experience

of active players will climb, and there will be less easy room for experimentation

in random pugs as that happens (at least, until gear levels make it easier

overall).

Define competent. I am certainly competent, but not a MP superstar.

 

And the lag in the MP I have played so far can be super killer. My character was slow running (even when I held shift down) so the only way I could catch up to my allies was to jump. Hilarious and frustrating as a tank.

Being only 12 hours old and "experimenting" is no excuse for readying up with 3 archers.
time won't solve stupidity and your post is ridiculous. Not everyone starts playing a new game like a total baffoon, some of us have been playing rpgs for DECADES and take all of 5 minutes to adjust to new systems. Plus, me3 mp says hi. 4 abilities, 4 man teams, unlocks via chests, important to stay together and utilize chokepoints...yeah, it's all pretty familiar.

As of now I have a 10 Reaver, 15 Assassin, along with like a 7 or 8 Archer and other odds and ends. Apparently I'm rank 61 Globally...

 

I can unlock another class right now but I am doing some research before I do that heh

Oddly, i'm actually enjoying tanking on my legionnaire more than playing either archer or mages... I think I might be some kind of mutant...
