I ran into one strange one. The game just exited to the menu, on Xbox One. Didn't freeze, crash, or anything like that. Just popped off.

PC
(I haven't left Haven for Skyhold yet but this is what I have come across so far)
Wartable Map / World Map / Region Map:
- Sometimes the items on the map will become unselectable by mouse, I have to use keyboard arrows to move around the menu or I have to force an ALT-TAB out of screen to get it to work again (which then leads to other problematic issues.) This also seems to affect all menues in the game (Inventory, crafting, etc). This is particularly stressing on the Wartable Map.
Dialogue Wheel / Conversations:
- Sometime the PC UI will not go away during cutscenes (especially predominant during the conversation with Connor in Redcliffe). I have to re-load to make it go away.
- Sometimes the grey circle of the Dialogue Wheel will remain on the screen with blank options after I speak with someone instead of disapearing which will then lead to not being able to select any options to get out of the conversation (NPCs in villages only, hasn't happened with my companions or the Advisors).
- Sometimes the mouse will stop working and I am forced to use 1,2,3,4,5,6 to choose dialogue options. ALT-TAB seems to be the current work around.
- Sometimes, I will see Speech Bubbles floating around with no NPC around, or the speech bubble will be above my ability selections on PC UI with no option to make it go away (this usually means that the dialogue wheel will show up grey with no text and won't go away, have to reload.)
- Sometimes I can move my camera around when speaking with minor NPCs or ambiant dialogue but now I'm always stuck in one direction, I can't spin the camera anymore (I'm not talking about cutscenes).
- The zooming thing it does for conversations isn't very smart. Depending on how my character is facing the NPC, I get caught up behind walls and vegetations / pots / counters all the time with no way to get out of it unless I skip the conversation. (IE: While speaking with Cullen outside, the NPCs fighting around him will block the way or all I will see are the swords)
Music, sound effects
- After loading from a save, the sound effects of battle do not play or will have a very long delay (10 seconds +) which will then play all the sounds at once to get caught up.
- Sometimes I've encountered load screen menu music overlapping with zone music which is really hard on the head.
Companion Battle Issues:
- Sera, while using the leaping arrow ability on an edge or a hill, will either fly up into the sky (a la giant in skyrim) or flip half way through the map, which is really funny the first time but really irritating after 50 times. No work around that I have found besides "make sure she's not on a hill or an edge"
- Companions will not use newly mapped abilities. Have to reload.
- Tactic Cam seems to get stuck in one direction sometimes and I can't turn properly on the keyboard/mouse, this issue doesn't happen when I use my controller.
Collision Issues:
- Partially falling through the floors / hills / steps. My feet keep getting swallowed up by the ground during big cutscenes.
- Some items are floating in weird spots (like a fire pit with people around it in the middle of river water, Inquisition Loot Troops that walk around collecting herbs are stationed in the middle of a lake that I can't get too? They're Jesus, they can walk on water.)
Other weird things:
- Companions or ambiance NPCs will seemingly Superman Fly Land into the immediate area I am in or in the background while speaking with NPCs. Especially hilarious during cutscenes.
- NPC flies out the closed gate in Hinterlands as you are speaking with the gate person(where the Apostate Mages are holding up - Where the quest for that Elf with the breathing potion is)
- Textures only partially loading, part of an outfit will be crisp and then the rest will be weird blurry and blotchy.
- The camera focus will be in the background in major cutscenes and all the characters in the sceen will be out of focus (ie: After fighting the Envy Demon in the Templar's story line (Champions of the Just I think it's called?) and you walk back up the stairs toward the Good Templars, it's all blurry). I'm really happy about that wall texture but everyone that is up close and personal for this amazing story developing is extra blurry!
- NPCs slide everywhere.
- Would be nice if the party would stop freaking out while I'm talking to a NPC, Cassandra really needs to stop pacing around lol.
- Origins knocks me out of the game if someone sends me a message. this is really jarring and irritating.
- Party members will knock me out of a dialogue wheel or out of an NPC's conversation range while they're pacing around. I've had to resort to telling my party to hold in a further area before I speak to anyone.
Better Life Items:
- Being able to back out of party selection if you chose to "venture forth" when the selection bugs out with the mouse or if you realise you forgot to sell all your stuff at the war table.
- Auto-attack needs to be included and be optional to turn on or off. At least let us be a ble to bind attack on something else than left mouse / R. Playing melee is really irritating without auto-attack (hitting 1-8, ASWD and pressing down on the mouse button or R to attack, I don't have three hands and I hate using the controller.)
- Looting is irritable for several reasons - you need to be really close, you have to spam V since it won't stay highlighted after you discoverd it and loot all is not bindable.
- I find myself pressing down on both L/R buttons on my mouse to move forward like in the other games, it would be nice to see it added back in.
- I don't mind the search function, but I think once something is highlighted, it should glitter or something so we can find it instead of spinning the camera around spamming V to see where the beep might lead us. The arrow should be a permanent feature, not a "important hidden item" feature.
- We need a Skyhold coffer or something to put extra items in. Pack Rats matter.
I'm sure I'll find more, it's not as buggy as ME3 anyways! ![]()
Besides this, the game is fantastic, 25 hours in, haven't even left Hinterlands lol. Awesome.

So far we have.
1. Controls on the PC doesn't work well.
2. Game doesn't recognize your character's gender or race properly.
3. Tactical cam is bad
4. Certain enemies being impossible to kill.
From what I collected reading forums these days:
5.Random crashes
6.Voice changing after customizing Hawke
7.No support for dual CPU users(simply because I don't have this problem that doesn't mean that other players in here don't use dual CPUs and honestly most dual CPUs are sometimes working better then quad CPU)
8.FPS drops
9.Shadow problems(some have reported problem with shadows being huge and black)
10.Black Screen(This seem to be issue with most players even with those that do have required system components to play they still encounter Black Screen that only seems to show just black screen and cursor and music that lasts few seconds)
Well these are problems I encountered people most complaining about.I just hope patch arrives fast so when I get game it can be bug-free as possible.

I'm on PC.
- Solas first companion quest in the Exalted Plains didn't work. I can see what I have to do, but I cannot interact with anything. I moved away from it, found a few dead bodies, had some dialogue about it looping and since then, nothing. Icon is gone from the map, too.
- Companions don't banter. I've gone through most areas with no banter at all. Sometimes it happens and I'm never really sure why, but most of the time, there's nothing.
- Sometimes weird graphical glitches, like people standing instead of sitting.

to all who wish to upgrade their dual CPU to quad..I say don't waste your money because it won't make you game any more playable.
I have quad CPU and by results of "Can your PC run this" this game was supposed to run smooth for me...well it did 8h after that one nice big crash and after that I wasn't able to play again since each time I would get stupid "Black Screen".So this has nothing to do how many cores you have it's more game's problem and they said that they will fix this thing in patch...*sighs* I just hope that patch gets fast.

This one happens to me alot, but it also happened to me playing assassins creed unity so I dont know if its a game bug, a console bug or what.

While playing offline I was talking to Varric in Haven when my Qunari warrior Inquisitor suddenly went silent as the dialogue wheel stuck on screen not allowing me to make a selection. I was able to free it up, but it immediately happened again. I logged out and went to my other main account where my human female mage proved more interesting anyway, that one is where my active world state was imported. The Qunari can wait on a patch or something!
Yeah, I got that with my female dwarf on my PS3.

This is misinformation. That is not nearly enough testing to come to that assumption. I exported from the Keep and started multiple playthroughs just fine. If anything, your testing proves that it is NOT the Keep that is causing it to happen, as your third character got stuck without accessing it.
Not Misinformation!! Like I said, after you export ONCE anytime after that you are stuck in the fade when trying to create a character. Also, I made it clear this is for the PC not console...

one major complaint from me would be that logging sites/quarry's do not show on the map. 24 hours in and still not found one quarry and the logging sites i stumbled across by chance. starting to truly frustrate me

XBone: (I havent left Haven yet....100%er)
- I will randomly not be able to switch between characters in the party. So I'll be stuck controlling whomever it locks up on until I quit and restart the game. A total PIA when you are trying to close the little rifts let me tell you.
I've had one crash to xbox home screen in a long 17 hour stint (still better than a Bethesda game there by miles though).
I also have sore eyes this morning for playing so long at once - that is my problem though I guess ahaha

I'm playing on PC.
In Skyhold, several times I've had a companion not be where the map says they are - they're just not there.

PS3 player. I can't even get past the part where Hawke meets stroud in the Western Approach.
When Stroud speaks the dialogue does not continue. And he just sits there. It isn't frozen, and it does it every time.
I hope all of these dialogue issues will be fixed.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a way around it?

Like many others, the dialogue wheel will suddenly stop and I have to skip. One time in particular is with the first "get to know you" convo with Cassandra in Haven. Halfway, I had to skip ahead or she just stared at me.
Audio will cut off if I use abilities outside of battle. But sometimes it cuts off during battle. I get sound effects and ambient noise, but nothing else. This also ties to the dialogue. When the audio goes, so do the dialogue cut scenes. The first meeting with Mother Giselle in the Hinterlands is one instance. The audio went mute, and so did her dialogue scene. Then it stuck there with her blinking at the soldier.
Party members are always running around and into each other. It's a little immersion breaking. They run into corners and keep running, or they displace themselves on objects like hay bales or boxes. Can you make them less...twitchy please? I don't remember your party members so fidgety in DA2
That's all I have...and I've played around ten hours so far.

They sometimes come back. Running around a bit helps, as does loading a new area and coming back. I particularly have this problem with Bull, Cole, Varric, Blackwall and Cassandra. The rest is where they should be.
I also had this problem in some missions, that NPCs needed extra loading time.
Interestingly, they are physically there, you just can't see them. Try walking onto their usual spot. You will be unable to do so, as they are only invisible.

Cassandra Romance scene is bugged. on XONE
Was it the actual scene that was bugged or the quest because for me I cant find the freaking vendor who supplies the Poetry book in the "Ideal Romance Quest".
I have searched all of redcliffe and I cant find anyone who will talk to me about it...its maddening!!

The vangaurd coat armor is seethrough in the belt area,
The grest sword I'm using has two hits clipping into each other, one is the default hilt and the other is a custom hilt that is exclusive to the sword. I cant customize the sword but I believe I got it immediately after reaching haven
(Edit) also the "goat guy" in the first trial. It loOKs like his hair I clipping through his headgear

These two aren't bugs. the they are ambeint convo's
for the first one there's no need to exit the convo, simply walk away and it will disappear.
the second, this is ambient COMPANION DIALOGUE, look around one of your sqauddies is asking you a question.
but same thing either find which one wants to talk and initiate a convo or simply continue running and the character will get the hint that you don't want to talk. (it seems to stay up for a while so you don't accidentally miss a companion convo in theatre.

In Haven,
Reloading and waiting until enemies of each waves are defeated before aiming the trebuchet allows the quest to continue. This is on PC. Not sure if this happens because my laptop have barely enough to run the game.

People half buried in the ground (static npc's you have no interaction with other than immersion)
found in Haven , Redcliff, once in Skyhold

The games text is all but unreadable and when the text is in red it is unreadable. Journals, crafting, and abilities are a pain to read. This needs to be fixed because it seriously hurts the game and it should be a relatively easy fix. I don't see any real reason for the text to be this bad

The only thing frustrating me is while in tac cam, when you select a different character it resets the camera over them? why does target cursor it not stay where it was? it is a poor design choice leading players to continually have track back and forth on the SAME target!!!
