I'm running a brand new PC I built myself less than a month ago. There's nothing installed I didn't just put there.

I'm worried I have some sort of hardware fault. I didn't really know what I was doing when I built it.

That's what I'm thinking on my end, I must have a hardware fault somewhere. As this is a brand new PC aside from the Hard Drive, everything else was bought about 3-4 months ago and built less than a month ago, since I finally had the time to do it all. So after all this and all the tests, I'm just taking it in tomorrow before I go to work.

It was even by low settings. I have found a tip in internet that actually works pretty well. (for quadro cores at least) - when game starts, turn off one of ur cores (i turn off the last one). I am able to play on medium now with ultra for meshes :) I hope it will help u too...

Big Snip

Sadly I have to now report that all of my games that I've tried playing (Rift Online, Shadows of Mordor, Grim Dawn) since DA:I released are all doing this and they all worked fine until I tried playing Dragon Age: Inquisition. I'm at a complete loss on what's going on with my system.

Heat is the bane of electronic equipment.  You may now have a damaged PSU, GPU, CPU or memory stick.. All can cause the system to freeze. No BSOD, NO ALT+TAB. Internet browsing is "light duty" and your fans keep the temperature below the TRIGGER mark.

There are some free tools you can download and use to diagnose your system. PRIME95 will stress your CPU and raise the CPU temp quickly. If the system freezes, well you have your answer.

Good luck
