So wait...

Both Fen'Harel and the Old Gods exist?

So that's every religion confirmed besides the Chantry?

Well, unless you count Leliana telling you how sure she was that she died, and how she was miraculously ressurected if you killed her as confirmation of the Maker.

"It's more complicated than that"

What's more complicated than what?

Well we already knew the old gods existed in some form because if they didn't there wouldn't be blights. Fan'Harel seems to be confirmed now but that doesn't prove the Dalish religion true.

Ah ok, I had not noticed he had one.  ;)

I think it proves quite a lot of it to be true. Remember, the Elven Gods aren't credited with creating the world.

Also, who else is thinking that Flemeth is Mythal?

Well he didn't seem to be quite as the Dalish described him (other than being a trickster). Generally religion is based on stories some of which are true and some aren't. Lets not forget that we found Andraste's Ashes in Origins and they did work, that doesn't prove the Chantry correct but it does show that there is some truth to those tales.

Is a stinger all there is to the ending or is there more?

Can you better...specify what you're trying to ask?

Yep.

Apparently the Ashes mysteriously disappeared and Leliana miraculously comes back to life if you killed her there, and even acknowledges that.

Alright since you guys passed it then hopefully someone can confirm or deny the rumor about Hawke being captured by templars/mages and having to choose to save Hawke or a Warden (Stroud, Alistair, Loghain)

bump

I thought I was pretty specific. The only thing I see people talking about for the ending is the archdemon and the stinger.

Is there nothing else? How about an epilogue? You know, where characters reflect on victory and going forward.

Oh. No. There's really not a lot of that at the end of this game. There is some, yes, but it's mostly what has been talked about already.

I recall hearing there were possible endings to this game, I always figured it was 40 variables to the ending yet we only see like 4-5 stills and Morrigan narrates the outcomes of some of the important decisions made in Inquisition. What happens afterwards? Nothing? An epilogue? Are we forced to wait for an expansion or wait for the next game only to learn about what became of the companions and the Inquisition after everything they've been through? This is why I don't like cliffhangers... While the ending to the Inquisition story arc ended on a positive note for this gamer, I'm still left on my hunger for more.  <_<

Well we know you can play on after the game ends so I imagine you will be able to talk to your companions at least about how they feel and what may be in store for the future, unless ofc it returns you to a point before you did the final mission like in ME3.

Except Solas isn't part of your playable characters anymore, which means this is an epilogue.

Edit: Unless Solas left you before the final mission...

Any news on the choice for the new divine? How do Cassandra, Leliana & Vivienne react to the position? Or was that BS?

I'm thinking that Flemeth is/was Mythal. And I'm REALLY hoping she isn't dead, like I don't think I could handle a Thedas without Flemeth :(

So what Solas did to Flemeth at the end? Did he really killed her?

Apparently absorbed her power/life force, that she gave to him freely, to accomplish some 'important goal' that he has. They are/were old friends with each other.

I was slightly upset about Flemeth and then I remember what she said in DAII. That was probably just one of her aspects that gave power to Dread Wolf. She's still out there. And also, anyone notice the Mirror frame? Their alliance seems to strench back a bit..... I'm sure she'll be back in DLC or DA4.

I didn't interpret it to mean Flemeth was dead... I'm probably wrong but I thought it meant that Flemeth had taken his body. Makes more sense that she's dead considering he said "I should pay the price, but the people... they need me." So she gave him her life and paid the price herself? so he could help the people? Plus when they zoom out and we see the statues the dragon's head is bowed down and the wolf's is raised, are any of the elven gods represented by dragons? Why do they end with more questions than answers?! She best not be dead, it wouldn't be dragon age without her!

So I guess this confirms that Felassin's master in Masked empire was Fen'harel.

Flemeth is one of my favorite dragon age characters and i was really looking forward to seeing her in DA:I.
I always thought that if she must die it will be some epic moment. Great death for a great character. But this.. i am very disappointed.
She is a great character and her story had great potential so i really hope we will see more of her.

I almost definitely think Flemeth is still around.

She could be 'written out' temporarily so that we don't have to think too much about her for now.
