I didn't interpret it to mean Flemeth was dead... I'm probably wrong but I thought it meant that Flemeth had taken his body. Makes more sense that she's dead considering he said "I should pay the price, but the people... they need me." So she gave him her life and paid the price herself? so he could help the people? Plus when they zoom out and we see the statues the dragon's head is bowed down and the wolf's is raised, are any of the elven gods represented by dragons? Why do they end with more questions than answers?! She best not be dead, it wouldn't be dragon age without her!

Or they're merged.

EDIT: Making some epic Flemolas entity of awesomeness.

I guess it hasn't been posted yet so I'll link the ending.

I'll just say that this doesn't prove anyone is a god. The elves don't seem to know what their worshiping.

Also, Leliena turns out to make a great divine. Bloody outcome but at least the Chantry stays whole and she officially frees the mages. Sweet!

I almost definitely think Flemeth is still around.

She could be 'written out' temporarily so that we don't have to think too much about her for now.

Yeah I agree she doesn't strike me as the self sacrificing type.

It actually is. Still, it's also an pretty obvious sequel bait ending.

Please, this is far better the Mass Effect 3's colored endings. This isn't some cliffhanger sequel bait. The main bad guy is dead and you get several conflicts in the series resolved, including you determining the out come of the Mage vs Templar war.

This extra scene at the end is little more than a teaser just like the after credit scenes of the Marvel movies.

A teaser for things that are to come. Thus, I believe it qualifies as an sequel bait ending. Not implying the ending wasn't conclusive, mind you, but there are still things that need to be resolved, as the epilogue scene implies.

Well, duh. Why would they resolve absolutely everything? Got to live something to look forward to in future games.

I still wouldn't call it sequel baiting per say. If it turned out Cory was still alive and plotting his vengeance, that would be sequel baiting. Whatever happens in DA 4, its highly unlikely to involve Fen'harel. At least not directly. While its unclear what exactly happen but its unclear what Fen'harel motives are. Which is typical of him.

Interesting, so whats up with Grey Wardens? And I take it Briala doesn't appear in DAI? And Celene doesn't really turn out to be a good ruler after all.

And it didn't look like Flemeth gave herself willingly but rather that Fen'harel tricked her, being the trickster god after all.

Briala does show up. Celene has elven assasins after her because Briala is still pissed at her. As for what happens to the grey wardens, thats part of the game.

Any word on how the ending(s) vary depending of our choices?

Now I'm wondering...

See, Elves seem to reproduce at a rather normal rate, and they were once immortal supposedly. I wonder if they just did the Flemeth thing and bodyhop to their descendants, and so avert the excessive overpopulation ordinary immortality would have?

On the Grey Warden's why is the epilogue so coy then?

The Elven elders slumbered when they got to old and wondered the fade. We are not sure how they dealt with population issues. Did the acient elves have a low population level, perhaps that is part of the reason why Arlathen was defeated by the Tevinter Imperium.

I think she is dead. Her body turned black. Dread wolf stole her power. Not sure if she did it willingly or not tho

So how does a romance with Solas play out at the end? Any difference?

What happens if you spared Flemeth in DA:O ? There is a possibility that she might be alive, no ?

Leliana offered to track down Solas for the Inquisitor, but she declined. I wonder if you get a war table operation related to him if you do pursue that lead?

Is there any mention at all on if Andraste is real/if you are actually the herald or not? Or simply who the woman in the very beginning was?

So wait...

Both Fen'Harel and the Old Gods exist?

So that's every religion confirmed besides the Chantry?

Well, unless you count Leliana telling you how sure she was that she died, and how she was miraculously ressurected if you killed her as confirmation of the Maker.

The Old Gods DO exist, they are the Archdemons: an Old God turn into an Archdemon when the Darkspawns found and corrupt one of them. The Old Gods religion (which is the Tevinter religion) is 100% proven true.

Fen´Harel, I don´t remember his lore, probably an/the Elven God.

The Maker and Andraste, the only proof people have about their existence is the supposed ashes of Andraste.

What happens if you spared Flemeth in DA:O ? There is a possibility that she might be alive, no ?

She is alive no matter what you did in DA:O because on DA:2 one of the main missions of Act 1 involves Hawke performing a ritual on an elven altar to resurrect/preserve her, from the explanation I remember she gave Hawke it was something like Voldermort´s Horrocruxes but without the "you have to kill people to divide your soul" part.

Maybe if you dont kill her in origins she is stronger somehow and able to survive in DA:I. Beacause she said in DA2 that she needed just a piece of her stored in the amulet to stay alive. But what if staying alive came with a price, like losing some of her power or something.
After all killing her or not decision is in the Keep so it should be important in some way.

If Solas is the dread wolf, what does that makes Flemeth?

I also notice an interesting line from Morrigan's son. He says to the Inquisitor: "people are afraid when an new age comes too soon". That sounds like what Morrigan said to the warden during the end of witch hunt. I think the next game will adress this new age Morrigan talks about. I get the feeling all the changes we see in Inquisition are merely the beginning of something much bigger.

Does she always say that? My memory of Witch Hunt is foggy, and almost everyone seems to be doing an OGB run, unlike my main run. Only line I specifically remember from my encounter was a sadly expressed "Well, it doesn't matter now."
