Last thread was locked, but we still need to figure out if it's really what format the game is in. If I buy it in a few days, I need to know if I'm buying digital or not. I suspect the same is true for other last-gen owners as well. Try to keep this thread "non-toxic", because getting too toxic is the apparent reason the last thread was locked. That and being off-topic... Somehow. I hope that it being locked isn't just a form of censoring.

I'm sorry about the last thread.  I thought it could have been productive for those who are planning on playing last gen.  Cat are you going to upgrade your console?  I am thinking of trading in my 360 at a Microsoft store near where I live.  Microsoft website says I can trade it in for 100 credit towards the xboxone.  I also got a 100 dollar gift card.  So I think I am going to bite the bullet on this. 

 

Funny enough, my wife was getting me an xboxone for Christmas.  So I kind of blew her gift idea to me.

You should ask, maybe you can tell the store clerk that you meant to buy a PS4 copy and that it was a Christmas gift and you made a mistake.   Anyways, goodluck Cat, I know you'll play the version you were meant to play.

Good, I'm not the only one who thinks it looks terrible on the 360.  I was expecting graphics at least on par with DA2.

I have the disk.

 

I advised my buddy to just get it for the PS4.  He was going to get it for the 360 so we could do some MP, but I'd rather him not waste his money.

 

Probably sometime down the road when I can afford a PS4 I'll probably purchase the game again for it.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. PS3 graphics are still not bad, imo. I got the game on disc. I don't care too much about graphics, though, and didn't go in with the highest expectations, but it's good enough for me for now

The graphics are terrible. I own the disk. 360 version. Wait for the next gen version. Seventy bucks for this is not worth it.

Apart from the graphics, is there anything gameplay or performance wise that you dont like?

Looks awful.  360, Disk because it is the ONLY option.  

Speaking of which, you cannot install the play disk, it's not even an option [something I've never ever seen before].  So, for people like me with dodgy disc drives, the game becomes absolutely unplayable because I'll be in character creation and boom "Unable to read disc" message pops up.  

This is a bad joke, and us old-gen consumers are the punch line.

I bought the PS3 digital version. I haven't played very much so far, but it more or less looks like the video. I'm starting to think there really is something to the physical vs digital thing. Honestly, my biggest problem with the game so far isn't the graphics themselves but the fact that all the text is so tiny it's almost unreadable.

I've pre-ordered it for PS3 (Friday release here) because I don't think the next-gen consoles are worth the cash. I'm hoping my low expectations for the graphics will mean I'm pleasantly surprised.
