Yup.  Why would we spend our time creating threads saying how awesome it is when we could be PLAYING the awesome?

It really is a fun game.

I'm not referring op as one of those who throw craps here and there. Just feeling disgusted of how toxic the gaming community is.

I can't wait to get in on the excitement of this game that the OP has shared! I'm still, mostly, patiently waiting on amazon delivery to my door... and I might tackle the driver to get the game quicker once I hear that truck at this point, lol. I have watched a few of the gameplay vids on YouTube and such and I already know that I will LOVE this game... thank you, Bioware!

I gotta say I love the game and I think they did an awesome job. I was up till 5 am playing (had the day off today) and I am giddy to get back and play. Sure there are some minor improvements I'd like to see, and I wish modding was a thing for DAI (I wouldn't play another game for a long time if there was). It baffles me the amount of complaining I have read. It doesn't make any sense to me so I just ignore it and go back to playing the game. I can only think that people just like to complain.

This is starting to sound like ME3/DA2 all over again where there was dozens of threads of how much everyone loved/hated the game. Must be a BSN tradition.

Hahaha, you guys obviously wasn't around at the official forums when Master of Orion 3 was released... This is a stroll in the park compared to that. :)

Seriously, this (all love/hate threads) is always happening when a big game is launched. Always. It's like a new natural law. I'm not surprised in the least.

I do need to play the game before making a call on it though. Glad you liked the game OP!

Not really sure where all the negativity is coming from in the other threads.

PS4 player here with only a single bug so far that I found and I am loving the game so far...

in case anyone wondered, i am playing on PS4.

i was on the fence for a LOOOONG time... my brother had a low spec PC so he had to get on PS4 and my friend has a crazy decked out PC and mine is slightly above middle as far as power...

i was worried that the GFX on my PC set to med-high-ish wouldn't look//play as good as PS4.

but yeah this game is definitely designed around a controller. it feels so good w controller in hand.

although i am the type of guy who thinks there are certain games on PC that "must" be played with controller and will totally use controllers half the time im on PC.

DAO is all about KB and mouse i'm sure of it. DA2 starts to go towards controller and DAI is very controller heavy.

although i think theres a good chance that bio will tweak and possibly add a few things in the 1st PC patch to help with mouse and KB setups.

i do want to grab the game and play on PC though,  right now i'm running a 2nd gen i5 2.80 ghz, 550 ti geforce, 12gigs of DDR3... its my vid card that worries me. so i think i will be aiming for a new card for x-mas, and the game on PC, it's where i want to really spend my time with DAI!!!!

thats just how i am. and theres something extremely comely about the mouse icon in the dragon age games, and it's just not right i haven't seen it since the game launched!!! lol

I've logged over a hundred and twenty hours on the game thus far and I still hold the opinion that I LOVE this game! Yes, there are some bugs and such that I hope they tweak and send out the fix for, but overall, it is the best damn game since ME3.  The only drawback to the entire game for me is the fact that the only lesbian in the game is a psychotic nut case, and I'm pretty offended that they thought that would be a good idea for a LI character. Oh well, hopefully, they do much better on that in the next installment. :) Until then, I am going to flirt the **** out of Scout Harding's cute little self in every playthrough!

I'm playing this on PC and I'm loving every second of it. As for the controls, I don't really see what the problem is, you move with WASD, turn the camera with right mouse button held down and attack with left mouse button. The only "gripe" I can understand is the controls regarding the tactical screen, and the camera could be held higher in that.

All in all, in my eyes this game is near pefrect. It's an excellent Dragon Age game, my personal GoTY of 2014 and it has a place in my TOP5 games of all time. Absolutely wonderful game. I just with they make a lot of DLC so I can keep playing this for years :D

But perhaps I'm just a blind fanboy.

Its a very good game, nothing revolutionay, but way better than DA II. I think that people bashing or praising too much are overeacting. Its a 8 out 10 game IMO.

You should try Divinity: Original Sin...with 10% of DAI budget is a better RPG.

i think div original sin is a terrible game in comparison to DAI. Everything is ridiculous and whimsical, and just full of terrible story telling and dialogue, its impossible to feel immersed in a game where every npc is spouting nonsense trying to be funny. Two skeletons having a ridiculous squabble over guarding treasure or whatever   and thats just the tip of the iceberg, plus the ugly graphics and lack of character customization. DAI is a gorgeous game that actually has a serious tone with meaningful and cinematic interaction, with a much larger amount of customization. Dai also featuers Companions who have personalities with whom you can build relationships etc whereas DOS has lame and forgettable companions  Not trying to turn it into some hate DOS campaign, but imo its the most overrated rpg ive every seen,

I know for other gamers they may feel this way about Fallout, Halo or Mario and and for good reason.

But when you look at what Bioware is doing for gamers, they create an epic fantasy with YOU as its star, what could be better???!!!!

Quests that are fun to play.

Just finished it so I can finally haunt the forums (and pass out tonight so as to get some much-needed sleep - been pushing myself hard to try to get through the game). I loved every moment, even with the bugs that made me headdesk. The experience was worth pushing past the technical issues, imo.

Definitely agree. Having a blast so far. I get back from work as soon as possible just to play DAI. I don't even bother to get a shower anymore lol.

As more and more people finish the game more of these threads are popping up. Bioware is back and if you think this is something special wait for Mass Effect Next. 100% with OP on this I think RPG'ss have been changed forever by Skyrim and Inquisition has built on that legacy and taken it to the next level.
