I am getting a complete system freeze where I can't even ctl alt delete or alt tab. The entire system freezes and I have to restart the computer after multiplayer session is done and the load screen comes up. It's happening a lot. Yes quad core and the game runs fine but can't handle a load screen wth.

A lot of memory gets freed at that point, so it sounds memory related (which doesn't tell you much, it could be main memory, it could be GPU memory, it could be because of actually faulty chips, it could be because of temperature, it could be because of power supply although that seems unlikely to only cause problems at that point). Outside chance of it being drive related.

My commiserations, these kinds of faults are generally not easy to diagnose.

Have you updated your GPU drivers lately?

Sorry, ME 3 MP reference was a joke. On PS 3, playing against the Collectors on Gold difficulty or higher tended to create a memory leak that would result in a hard freeze with a measurable chance of bricking the console.

I do hope for the best for you addressing the issue, though. The only real advice I could offer would be not to play MP, except for the purposes of troubleshooting with support. Hard freezes aren't good for any system, so it's best to avoid repeating the problem until you've sorted out what's causing it (at least as much as possible.)

Ok I seem to have resolved the problem. I updated the gpu drivers. I completely uninstalled the Intel Turbo Boost program that was getting crashed when playing. It must be conflicting with Dragon Age. I also went to msconfig and stopped the start up of my Razor game booster and anything else that would interact with Dragon Age. I went into msconfig and also stopped any kind of 3rd party services that would possibly interact with Dragon Age. Restarted.

Now I can play Dragon Age Multiplayer without crashing.
