Hello everyone,

Since I'm not regularly post things on BW forums, I decided to post a small information topic about Low/Middle-Class PCs they can run

DAI or not. Please take my all words below as a suggestion (there's no performance guarantee) all things is my personal

experience of playing games on my Computer, so I hope its helps you

First of all let me put this: If a game requires a GPU like NVIDIA GTX 560-570 etc, you dont have to buy one of them or going crazy buying a TITAN Z (since that card is pretty much useless in my opinion- nothing more than Marketing trick) If you have card like GTX460-470-480 you can run it with %70 chance in middle range visual/graphic settings. Of course its depends on game, its content etc etc etc

But here is some most general graphic options for NVIDIA users for most recent games:

While I'm not going to give exact details about for every game, I will focus on NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL settings.

(You can access it on your desktop :  Right click---NVIDIA Control Panel---Manage 3D Settings---Application Settings)

Select your game from list and if its not in there, Click Browse-->Find DAI.exe(or whatever exe name) and click add.

These settings focused on Middle-Class graphics, so dont expect full visual quality, expect only less GPU fan

noise and more CPU performance/faster loading screen.

Antistropic Filtering = Off

Anti-Aliasing (Transprant) = Off  (This setting have 3 different sub-options)

Anti-Aliasing (Mode) = put 4x If you dont wanna see little crop-points on characters and objects.

Anti-Aliasing = Put this ON, because you cant switch to 4x if you put Off this setting

Ambiant Occulsion = Off

Vsync = ON  (This is critical option, must do this to prevent extremely higher frame rates which causes ALOT of

GPU fan noise/overheat. Vertical Sync: which means limits the Frame Rates. But If you getting so much freezing during

cutscenes- put to AUTO or OFF.)

Texture Filtering: This is the main setting for your graphic card to How your card render the entire content.

Put  "Performance" if you want to increase performance, and Put "Quality" if you want more visual quality.

High Performance/High Quality is not recommended, simply due to overheat and lag.

Assuming you have a GPU from NVIDIA GTX400/500 series OR AMD Radeon 4xxx / 5xxx / 6xxx

Texture Filtering LOD: This setting is a huge garbage, put OFF.

Dont change other settings.

After all done that, click APPLY

Thats it, these settings will give you some performance instead max visual quality, again its not guaranteed, I can

play games like COD:Ghosts, Titanfall, Battlefield 3 without any problems BUT of course there's a matter of IN-GAME

graphic settings too. Every game have its own graphic settings, so you can put Medium/Middle/Normal settings

in game for DAI.  NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL should force some settings for you but sometimes its not. Double check your

graphic settings after you done.

Golden Tip: Turn OFF Shadow Quality in game if you want great game experience without shadows in cutscenes.

Lighting and Shadows is the most GPU memory hunters in games, or put Low. This setting may even grant you less lags.

You can also decrease the Resolution to 1280x768 instead 1440x900. There's really not much difference between these two.

I think thats all I can provide you folks since I'm not a GPU expert, leave comment if you got problems or you got better

performance so others can also see and try.

Oh how did I forgot? Here is my lovely "rig"

4 gig Ram

NVIDIA GTX 470  (4 years old graphic card, yes really. GPU released on 2010)

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 @2.71 GHz CPU Black Edition

3 years old HDDs 500 GB

You can monitor your GPU temperature with this little program: GPU-Z (www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/)

its really useful tool, I highly recommend it.

I hope its helps, happy playing!
