How can it be THIS buggy and unpolished?!

I've been playing for a couple of hours now (PC version), and I can't believe how unpolished this thing is after how long in development?

1. Talking with people. The camera zooms in or out to an awkward angle and half the time I'm looking at the back of someone's head or the wall. That just strikes me as sloppy.

2. Party "jitters". This is minor, but when I'm talking to a non-party npc, my party members are fidgeting and jittering and can't stand still. This can't be by design.

3. No one moves out of the way. Again, if this is by design, I'll be surprised. When you're walking down a street, the people never move out of the way. You have to navigate your way around them all because you can't either push them or they don't move... really? Was this really a good idea?

4. The music volume never turns down. Maybe this is fixed later in the game, but it's really distracting when I'm talking to someone and the music is still playing at full volume. So now I have to choose between talking to people or listening to the music.

5. And the biggie - I somehow managed to open the console during a fight. That's right, the command console. I have no idea how, I didn't want to open it, and I couldn't get rid of it no matter what I tried. In fact, I tried EVERY friggin key to get rid of the damned thing. I had to ditch the game to get rid of it. Either I somehow hit the magic combo during a normal fight, or something is really wrong. And why doesn't ESC get rid of it? Regardless, it strikes me as really sloppy that I could get in there so easily.

On top of that, everything is obviously designed for a console platform. It seems like the PC version is an afterthought. If I wanted to play on a console, I'd buy one. Instead you force the clumsy console controls onto the PC. Awkward.

So far I'm really disappointed. I hope it picks up.

Ditto. Except number 5. That's the tilde key mate, the one that looks like this ~.

The only problem I had so far is FPS stuttering, it sometimes drops 30 fps for no reason.

The dev console is bound to tilde, i.e. the "~" key. It's directly to the left of "1," and above the tab key. Unfortunately it was never possible to disable the console in Battlefield 4, so there's a chance the same will be true for Inquisition. I actually had to use the software that came with my keyboard to completely disable the tilde key at the hardware level. Annoying.

1. You can use A and D to turn the camera.

I guess all of this is due to the introduction of Frostbite. They tried to get used to it but eventually it won

You can open the console by pressing ` (the button just before 1) just like in Skyrim.

Hey at least you can hear the voices. Count yourself lucky that you have less problems than most people. The game is definitely bethesda level buggy which is not a compliment. I can't even get out of the the prologue because I have no voices outside of when I'm walking around.

Honestly, I'd rather the game be delayed. I'd prefer to enjoy my late copy, not suffer with an early one.

I've tried to force myself to ignore the atrocious frame rate, but I can't play for more than 10 minutes before wanting to puke.

How long do I have to leave my copy on the shelf before it's playable?
