Like it says I cant connect to dragon age servers on PC, BUT I can on my xbox one. Could that be the reason its not allowing me to connect to the servers on PC?  NOTE: Have already done the reinstall on origin and dragon age and went through the clean boot/ cleared out any other programs that might be blocking it. Trying to find out any other cause without being the next toxic person in the forums.

It is not a problem with your PC, its a problem on Bioware's end. I bought the game on retail and i keep getting: connection to Dragon Age Servers lost error. A friend loged in with his account on my pc and the game connects instantly. It is account related, and bioware/ea need to fix this ****, I'm so ****** pissed of right now cause no one, nor in the forums nor in the "chat with ea" can tell me what the **** is going on.

1."create an admin account" why would i create another ****** admin account? its related to my origin account. did it anyways, of course it didnt work.
2. Reinstall origin, of course didnt work.
3. Reinstal both origin and the game after uninstalling them. Didnt work
4. Make a clean boot, didnt work.

NO SOLUTION ON YOUR END WILL WORK BECAUSE ITS THEIR PROBLEM. But it seems they wont do **** to solve it.

Having the same problem

I managed to connect ONCE, yesterday. Enough to create 1 character and import my Dragon Age Keep world state. But I have not been able to connect again. Have followed ALL the guides they have posted. None of them works.

Hell, I have been unable to connect to the ME3 servers since February of this year, after having it since launch and playing the MP frequently.

Bariudol is right, the problem is on their side and I don't see much advance on solving the issue.

Have you tried testing the ISP?

I know this seems ridiculous, but when I try to connect to DAI over TWC, it is almost guaranteed to lose connection, as if something was wrong at either end, however...

I tried connecting through my Portable Hot-spot, on Verizon 4G LTE, and I instantly connected, and had no problems running MP missions (without lag) To the point where  was even the top scoring player (Hunter)

I had no problems buying items from the store, salvaging the low level items, and attaching upgrades. Only thing I didn't do was craft armor...If I can unlock Arcane Warrior, I'd be happy, just 2 silks away?

As soon as I switch back to AOL...CRASH!

I can't imagine any reason why a 4G LTE connection is more successful than a 20+ MBps connection, but who knows maybe something DAI needs is found in Verizon Networks, but isn't used in AOL

Actually, I'm gonna try my AT&T 4G LTE...I'll let you all know how it turns out

OK, just got back from testing AT&T 4GLTE (Phone) and bad news, it's even faster than Verizon Wireless...hardly saw any load screens...and yeah TWC still won't connect, really don't want to have to burn through Data Plan, just to play Dragon Age MP (Sadness)

Last Update, no kidding Time Warner Cable does block some ports. Oddly Dragon Age Inquisition, Call of Duty Ghosts, and Diablo 3 are all blocked on my PC at this time, which is odd that it's specifically the game connection, the devices themselves have no problems connecting for email, Youtube, Amazon, etc (All works fine) but as soon as a game tries to run...Dead

Latest and greatest in trying to connect to Dragon Age Inquisition...I got it fixed it only costs $20, I setup a Wifi range extender, and here's why:

Time Warner Cable is set up to actually block some ports...Naturally they deny this, but to be fair if I was setting up a network some ports will be needed to regulate and manage the network. However, an unusually high number of users have reported non-browser based email clients and network dependent software (Example: Online Games) simply do not work on Time Warner Cable. What happens when a Wifi Range Extender is involved, is the node (or user terminal) asks for the port from the Extender, and the extender asks for a different port from the network...I'm not sure about all the details, but now all my games are working...I know it seems unnecessary when you already have Full Signal Strength, but the difference may be people who invest in their own infrastructure, and those who lease from the ISP. I'll admit I'm not the smartest when it comes to ISPs, but BOTTOM LINE: My games are working!

This is indeed account related for some of us. There are a number of games currently installed in my system and they all connect to their respective servers without any problems. I even reinstalled DAO and DAII to see if it's a server issue but it's not. Mass Effect games, Titanfall, Battlefield 4 etc. give me no trouble when I'm trying to connect yet DA: I won't connect at all. I have no connection problem with Origin either. No antivirus installed, ports are open and firewall exceptions are there so where is the problem? I uninstalled and reinstalled the game many times, both Origin and the game is installed to the default directory so it can't be that either.

I mean, I tried everything. EVERYTHING. I always troubleshoot any problems that emerge if they are caused by my system but I'm stumped here.

"Connection to Dragon Age server has been lost" is the error message that I am getting. At this point I don't care about deluxe edition items really, I just want to import my world state.

The strange thing is that when i started playing DAI, November 21st, i could connect to the server. It's about last week i can't connect and get the message from the start at the screen 'click to continue'.
Then there's the strange issue with MP. I can go online and play with others but i can not connect to store etc.

I have a huge problem.  I can not connect to any EA server at all.  the problem was caused by removing a line from my hosts file from instructions to remove annoying pop up ads.  I have tried to restore the file to default both manually and with microsoft fixer.  No dice.  I can not access any online feature on origin account,  and I changed my email on origin to my new email and can't verify it as I am blocked from all EA servers.  when I tried to do a system restore ALL MY RESTORE POINTS ARE GONE NOW!!!!!!!!!  I am about to have a nervous breakdown atm (not kidding I have Derpession, Panic Disorder and PTSD) I just forked out for DA:I and I can't play it.  I also can't play any of my MMO's as they won't connect to their respective servers either.  This is a ****storm and I need help desperately.  the Hosts file is reading as is is meant to but acting like it is botched, even removing the file and getting windows fixer to make a new one won't work.

I really don't want to reinstall windows as I will be wiping a 1.5TB drive in the process.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a number of threads in the technical support area.  They have a authentication issue post patch with the Origin servers from EA.  The two organisations will have to have a chat and fix it.  Hopefully they fix the graphics problem at the same time.

In the mean time enjoy real life :-)

I have the same problem. I had no problem with Dragon Age Origins. But with Dragon Age 2 I get messages that my username or password is wrong. They work with DAO but not DA2. Even works with ME1,2, and 3.
