MESSAGE POPULAIRE !
"suffered through Dragon Age 2"
Dragon Age 2 was a perfectly decent game, unfinished but still good fun. If you felt as though it was something you had to suffer through, I'm not sure why you decided to pre-order DA3. You should have waited until more reviews were out and now you only have yourself to blame for this disappointment.

Go to the store and buy a gamepad controller. The game works pretty amazing with one and I play it with that instead of the mouse/keyboard.
Why?
Because I'm playing on a PS4.
We would have purchase a console if we want to use a controller, PC is far better.

Drogo, I have a PS4, and a PC. My PC is built by me, to be a gaming PC. It's my go to choice for games that companies like Bioware used to make. So I appreciate your feedback, but PC is my go to choice.
Joe, I am on my way to Gamestop to pick up a controller, but it disgusts me that I have to do so.

DA 2 PC is better than DA 3 PC due to its better mouse and keyboard interface.

BioWare never once promised you it was going to be like DA:O or even DA2, they said they was taking elements from both games and adding further new elements.
By sounds of it you read and heard what you wanted and never once understood anything being told

Already got a controller for the ported console games in PC, I refuse to use it for DA 3 as it is 'suppose' to be a PC game and not ported over.

Can't you remap the controls to some semblance of what you find tolerable?
I dunno, I'm a PS4 player, but I thought that was one of the perks of PC.

Dragon Age 2, was a suffer through game. With maybe ten development kit area's, lackluster combat, the only thing it had going was the story.
See Origins I can play again and again and enjoy, I have only played DA2 once, and will never do so again, because it isnt anything like Origins. BioWare has made mention numerous times on how DAI would be more similar to DAO. This is not the case, This is so not the case at all.
I had made mention before that I would stick it out and give DAI/3 a chance after the ME3 fiasco, and now I'm done with BioWare.

They also forgot to add in they will also rearrange all the key bindings from DA 2 as well as removing auto attack for the PC version.

BioWare,I was one of the faithful, I suffered through Dragon Age 2, and hoped 3/Inquisition was going to be better - you'd promised me that it was. You promised me that it was going to be like Origins, and not the combat mess that 2 was. Well, with shitty controls, no real tactical combat, and a point and Diablo click with buttons, without being able to toggle auto run, or move with a mouse. You have delivered a steaming piece of ****. Absolute ****.Are you guys happy with this steaming control mess that you've made? Are you happy knowing that you guys went from being my number 1 game design company, to the absolute worst company ever? The fact that you somehow belched this control scheme into existence, that you made a complete mess of a game world that WAS SO PERFECT WITH DRAGON AGE ORIGINS. You turned a beautiful PC game, into Skyrim, without the controls, without the sense and feel of a tactical rpg, and whats worse was - you marketed it as a spiritual successor to DA1/O.How you guys even call yourselves Bioware anymore, I have no idea. Thanks for ruining it, between this, ME3, and DA2 I've lost all faith in your company.
Holy junk, cry more..
Game was released YESTERDAY.. FFS. Give it some time. not like they can't make adjustments to it..
And FYI, Ubisoft has the rightful crown as worst company ever.. From what I played yesterday, this game is going to be amazing..
All that said, you're entitled to your opinion and if you choose to turn your back on this game/dev then you're within your right to do do..
But I don't think you will do that. You will continue to play it, in despite of this butthurt post.

If it's that easy do you really think PC users would not have demand a patch to fix the huge number of issues for the mouse and keyboard interface.

Of course you can, and it is. Some just...aren't doing it.

I'm loving the game. Sure, I play on the xbox one, so I guess I'm silly. But I did have a hard time with the new controls/UI for the first couple hours of gameplay. Didn't understand why they didn't just stick with what worked so well in DA:O and DA2. But After 5 or 6 hours, I got the hang of everything, and it's an amazing experience.

Honestly if you hated DA2 so much, you shouldn't have bought DA3 without waiting for more feedback. Pre-ordering a game when you disliked the predecessor is just asking for disappointment.
I don't remember Bioware claiming anywhere that DA:I would be more similar to DA:O apart from the fact that it has tactical camera, and that it does.

I would definitely advise plugging in a controller and playing it as an action RPG. That's what it was designed for, for better or worse. And if you don't like action RPGs at all... well... get your 24 hour refund from Origin I guess.

Sorry, but try to re-map keys to a mouse. It doesn't work. You can not remap to a mouse, or in this case a Steelseries mouse.
I'm not going to go in depth with every option I have tried. But Yes, you can remap the keyboard, but the default UI does not allow for mouse button remaping, and I have been trying since 1am this morning. Thanks.

Well...the kb&m controls *are* pretty crappy (even DA2 did them tons better), but I simply can not share your melodramatic stance on the game. I'm ~10 hours in so far and I already find this game a huge improvement over DA:I.
In fact I'd even go as far and say that -after ME3 (horrible) and DA2 (meh)- this game has restored my faith in BW. It has flaws, but even more promise...also it's simply fun.
