Dude no offense, but you make it sound like bioware was your girlfreind and she just got caught cheating on you.

well here is a really check to you and everyone else who has ever complained that "insert company has  "betrayed" you":

bioware owes you nothing okey ?, they are a company in the business of making profit okey ?

so just take a chill pill  eh ?

Wrong, a company makes a profit at the expense of its customers, so the customers should always come first. Obviously they can't please everyone all of the time, but to say they owe the customer nothing makes a mockery of the whole Capitalist system. If people aren't happy they'll turn away, and where is the profit in that? A company must retain a symbiotic nature with the customer because the customer is their profits.

It also seems like people play for two hours and say "**** it these controls suck" and decide Bioware is the worst company of all time.

I've played for twenty hours, and they still suck.

Have you tried rebinding?  Any of them?  In any way?

You must be very young OP - life is full of disappointment.  Especially when you're incapable of adapting to the world not being made specifically for you.

You should thank Bioware for being a primer to the future.

I dislike this game TBH and am trying to not to be mean, but I am just very disappointed about darn near everything.  I dislike the looks and the walks of the avatars. I I dislike the way they do not regenerate health.  Absolutely hate the useless Keyboard and mouse, and combat with this system is impossible to enjoy when the tac camera is funky and the controls are so much of a NON User friendly for PC. I am NOT switching to consoles so dont suggest that.  Point to click and collecting the loot and if I have to craft, why is the UI for my inventory such a pain to use .

RANTS RANTS RANTS

(sorry about being negative, but I really am a bit pixxed off)

I need makeup powder, they are too shiney, and the females body need to be adjustable because they look like males with boobies.  They even walk like men.

Drogo, I have a PS4, and a PC. My PC is built by me, to be a gaming PC. It's my go to choice for games that companies like Bioware used to make. So I appreciate your feedback, but PC is my go to choice.
Joe, I am on my way to Gamestop to pick up a controller, but it disgusts me that I have to do so.

I get your point about 'having' to buy a controller, but in the long run you won't regret it.  So many PC games these days play better with a controller /shrug.

Hmmm.... No. No healing, trimmed tactics, all that stuff was documented. They didn't mislead you. I watched a sh!t ton of devs playing on Twitch, read the reviews, watch and listened to other players on Twitch.

It's called being a responsible consumer. Now bugs and stuff are different, and they will be patched/addressed. If you buy a car with only three wheels and you didn't ask questions, test drive or read reviews, it's on you. If you drive off and you lose a wheel, that's on them. So unless the game crashes, well sorry for you. Get a credit and buy something else.

Lol you guys need to learn how to shop.  You are spending way too much money on PC

As well, I did some back of the envelope calculations a while back and yes, since PC games are often cheaper, over time a console user can spend more

I like good graphics @ 60fps, 1080p.  You still can't get this on 95% of console games.  Fact.

I get that the game may play better on a controller, but that should never be the solution. If the console version was horribly configured to the point where a large segment of fans were complaining about it, would it feel like a valid response to say "consoles have mouse and keyboard attachments for the consoles - you buy those and play the game that way" or would that response just seem to miss the entire point?

Look, there are a number of things I don't like about the game.

  • Wooden animations.  These people are wooden like no one else.  ME3 in this department had this beaten by a mile.  ME2, by 10 miles.  I don't know if it's a technical problem with the frostbite engine, a programming problem, what..   But these people are just like wood.  I mean, the voice acting is great.  Cassandra shouting orders, only to have her mouth open maybe a quarter of an inch larger.  To have her eyes squint closed maybe 1/16th of an inch closer.  Particularly facial animations.  I can deal with swagger like with Leliana and Cassandra.  I mean, hell, I can even deal with it with Commander Shepard.  However, take away those facial animations, and you've got nothing.
  • Click to attack.  I have no problem with that.  But, it's when I have 3-5 enemies in front of me, and all I have to do is click and hold my left mouse button until all of them are dead.  I don't even have to aim.  That's what I have a problem with.  I mean, hell, in ME3MP at least they were shooting back and at least I had to have them highlighted.  Click and snore.
  • If I could (because my HTML skills just rock), I would post a video showing the M12 locust vs. a mage shooting with his staff.  I bet'cha they're about the same.
  • I can attack from far away.  Now, I understand you wanting to give mages some extra horsepower.  But in the tutorial mission, I was standing at the top of a mountain shooting, and killing things, in the valley below.  This is a tad ridiculous.  Especially given that mages were always shown being slaughtered by the templars.  If this were true in the other games, there is no way that this could have ever ever ever ever ever ever ever happened.

I love how people scream that they're betrayed and say Bioware needs to listen to their customers.

Listen, art is completely subjective and no artist or artists should have to conform their ideas to anyone, but themselves.

You wouldn't go up to your favorite musician and say write a song like this, sing it like this, and perform it like this.

Get over it.

Yah, I suppose that's true.  I suppose that's why no one has even heard of Shakira since her hit came out.

Huh, guess it was just another one hit wonder, huh?

Bad example. The history of music is littered with examples of fans screaming that their favourite artist has betrayed them, be it the Beatles turning psychedelic, Dylan going electric or Bowie trying his hand at soul.

But, yeah, your general point is valid.   ;)

Hate Shakira, but she has more than one song. So, I don't get what you're trying to say. The problem with art as a product is that you can't keep relying on the same formula.

Coca-Cola doesn't have to change coke and will sell long after I'm dead.

If devs made games the same way as 10 years ago, they'd be gone. Music, movies and games, all have to adapt to ever changing technologies, evolve and implement engaging stories, and so much more. They do all of this "hoping" you will like it, but again they shouldn't conform to you.

Yeah, they have, my point was moreso that the artist should do whatever they want with their art. If you don't like it, it's your problem.

You know the game  can be made great for both?  Why try to screw someone else over?

Art is intentional.

Someone could go up to Picasso and say "the perspective in all of your paintings isn't realistic - you can see it from all angles." And Picasso would say "yes, that's what I was intending."

Someone complaining to Bioware that the controls of their game is wonky or that they feel disengaged with the fetch quests the game is putting in front of them, Bioware is not going to say "yes, it was my artistic intention to make an interface that is less enjoyable with a M&K and an opening area with loads and loads of filler content." Or if they do, I question their artistic vision (Nevermind their sanity.)

Not to mention the ability to "not have to answer for your art" goes out the door when you spend millions marketting and advertising it for sale. It is no longer the relationship of an artist and their audience, but a company and it's consumer. And in that relationship, consumers are always allowed to express their feedback on the product they bought.

That's funny. I can move with my mouse, autorun and use the tactical system pretty well.

The controls are a bit more based on MMORPG controls and while the tactical system is pretty new to me, I like it.
