PC is for everything, controller included.

I have two PC's and a PS4.  I beg to differ.  There are games for PC's and some for PS4 depending on the type. :)

PC Gamer here. Playing on xbox controller because that was clearly the native control scheme. Feels very natural but I do miss my camera contol.

yes you can re-map the keys

Many people seems to be oblivious to that concept I'm afraid...

You CAN'T map any of the actions to mouse buttons, which you can do in almost any other PC game.  Adding this in still wouldn't address the poorly implemented mouse/keyboard controls but it would help.

"suffered through Dragon Age 2"

Dragon Age 2 was a perfectly decent game, unfinished but still good fun. If you felt as though it was something you had to suffer through, I'm not sure why you decided to pre-order DA3. You should have waited until more reviews were out and now you only have yourself to blame for this disappointment.

If it was developed by a new dev, I would agree with you completely but given the past record of Bioware; people expect more.

Go to the store and buy a gamepad controller.  The game works pretty amazing with one and I play it with that instead of the mouse/keyboard.

Why?

Because I'm playing on a PS4. ;)

I didn't bough a Pc to play with a controler.

Bioware shouldn't release a game on Pc if they didn't program it for it.

Because we had no problem with DAO mouse+keyborad controls. Why didn't Bioware do the same for DA:I

And they said they are Pc gamers at heart, I beg to differ for now.

How you guys even call yourselves Bioware anymore, I have no idea.

They don't. They call themselves "BioWare". I do agree on the tac-cam issues though and on the general "control mess". Inventory lists, blergh!

PC entitlement much?

I have a great rig and I also have a gamepad controller with it.  I also have a MMO controller, a mouse, and a keyboard.  I have MULTIPLE gaming controllers for my PC because I'm not a snob. ;-)

It's entitlement to want my platform's main control setup to actually be well implemented and not clunky and awkward to use.

Seems legit.

Well it's just like playing an MMO or a First-Person shooter.

You can either use the KB/M to do everything...or you can use this:

Mmm...yea..I'll choose the controller.  Just sayin...

What he or she* said:

BioWare,
I was one of the faithful, I suffered through Dragon Age 2, and hoped 3/Inquisition was going to be better - you'd promised me that it was. You promised me that it was going to be like Origins, and not the combat mess that 2 was. Well, with shitty controls, no real tactical combat, and a point and Diablo click with buttons, without being able to toggle auto run, or move with a mouse. You have delivered a steaming piece of ****. Absolute ****.
Are you guys happy with this steaming control mess that you've made? Are you happy knowing that you guys went from being my number 1 game design company, to the absolute worst company ever?
The fact that you somehow belched this control scheme into existence, that you made a complete mess of a game world that WAS SO PERFECT WITH DRAGON AGE ORIGINS. You turned a beautiful PC game, into Skyrim, without the controls, without the sense and feel of a tactical rpg, and whats worse was - you marketed it as a spiritual successor to DA1/O.
How you guys even call yourselves Bioware anymore, I have no idea. Thanks for ruining it, between this, ME3, and DA2 I've lost all faith in your company.

What I hear:

"I'm mad because this wasn't tailored with us PC gamers in mind only and was made with multiple platforms in mind." I'll reserve judgment on it until I've played it but others seem to think it's good or even great and not a watered down version of an RPG. I'll have to wait until I play it but it seems most people have good things to say.

Geez, talk about over exaggerating.

Yeah the PC controls are different than Origin or DA:2.....and in some cases they just don't make any sense (i.e loot sonar -vs- tab to see).

I did not get much chance to play last night but from what little I did.....the controls didn't seem too bad to get used too/remap.  Hated the loot sonar thing....hated not being able to point to move.

Might try out with Controller tonight.  Unlike some others I don't view the controller as some anti-pc-Christ or something.  Just one of many input devices  I have to pick from depending on what works best for me for a given game.  Then again, I have been known to I also use a keyboard from time to time on my Xbox One  =P

I have other control setups I could use. If I really wanted to, I could go out and buy that.

That doesn't somehow make the expectation that the most common and standard setup of PC gaming will be well implemented "PC entitlement".

Hyperbole aside, I think it's legit for people to be frustrated with KB&M controls, especially the tactical cam which was billed as a return to Origins' tactical cam. Which it isn't.

Game is AMAZING on PS4.

Well, that's good for you.

It should be on the PC too, though.

Drogo, I have a PS4, and a PC. My PC is built by me, to be a gaming PC. It's my go to choice for games that companies like Bioware used to make. So I appreciate your feedback, but PC is my go to choice.
Joe, I am on my way to Gamestop to pick up a controller, but it disgusts me that I have to do so.

Methinks you are doing it wrong.  Are you using a mac mouse or something? *eye roll*

So just because some people have no problems the people who have problem shouldn't voice their disappointment?

This blind loyalty to game developers, brands and console manufacturers to a point where the invidividual feel like the said developer/brand/manufacturer owes them something is beyond me sometimes. But I'm sure they are going to miss your money very much, OP.

Dude, we payed money. Is smooth and fun experience on PC instead of trainwreck of annoyance is too much to ask?
