I'm getting a weird glitch where NPC's will refer to my male Inquisitor as a she. They'll say things like "My Lady" or "She was the one who closed the rift." This doesn't really bother me that much and I don't think it will affect romances and such. I was just wondering if anyone else was having this issue.

Okay now I'm, starting to think maybe it will affect my romances. I flirted with Sera for the first time right after she joins the Inquisition and she responded pretty positively to it. I don't know if this is the case regardless of gender. I flirted with Cassandra during the first conversation you have with her at Haven as well and she responded negatively. Yet again don't know if this is always the case.

Well on the bright side you won't need to mod the game to romance characters that are gender gated. ![]()

That would be great if I didn't want to romance Cassandra.

This must be for the PC. Seems to be a number of issues on the PC version

The very first time I started the game I had this bug. And I had to start over. Great first impression.

Yeah Mike Laidlaw tweeted about it. Definitely a bug. As far as I know the only fix is to restart. On the gender select screen swap back and forth a few times before choosing one and apparently that fixes it.

Happened to me at the beginning, when I created my character.
Leliana said "We need her". So I created new character and all seems to be well - I've unlocked Hinterlands and everyone is saying he, my lord, etc.

So it's a pc-only glitch? Better not happen for me on PS4.
PS4 runs smooth from what I could read.Problems seems to occur only on PC version.

I have read about this problem a several times now. But I only read about male Inquisitors being referenced to as women. Or did someone experience it the other way round, too?
How soon in the game can you notice it?

Sucks for people on PC... but yeah, what a relief. Thanks!

First scene after character creation.
Thanks for the information. Of course it is annoying to have to make your character again but having to replay an hour or more would be worse. Well, I will have to wait until Thursday before I can try. We'll see if I will suffer an unwanted gender reassignment. ![]()
