I joined a lobby, saw there wasn't a mage, hopped on my level 1 Keeper and we made it to the end of the 3rd zone before wiping. Results screen came up and apparently the game did not approve of my play skills, because I received -1800 experience and remained at level 1. 

I mean, I recognize that my Barrier placement skills could use some work, but I was 2nd on the scoreboard behind the level 8 Legionnaire, so I thought I had done alright...apparently not though. ;_;

 

Has anyone else had odd experiences like that?

 

EDIT/UPDATE: Decided to change the title and add a couple more things that have happened to me, for fun (This has all been on the PS4).

 

Had the sound completely cut out on me multiple times, requiring me to close the game and restart it.

Had a fantastic event where my Templar, 2 Archers and a Keeper were plowing though some demons. We get to the 5th zone, I open the door and...nothing but clear sky as far as the eye could see. I informed my team of this phenomena, but they had already planted the flag. So I did my best to follow them and aim my Shield Wall where they were shooting at. I actually managed to survive until right before the end (props to my teammates who did 99% of the work), when something (I'm assuming the Demon Commander) took the last of my guard and health and I fell. Thankfully, the Archers finished off whatever killed me and we got the victory screen...forever. Had to close the game and restart it, luckily the game counted and I had a level 7 Templar and enough gold to get another Large Chest.

I have had games where no one in the entire party got xp.    I believe there was some weird amount listed but if you looked at your character there was none so it wasn't persistant.    I don't think it was ever negative though, congrats

I had this happen on my Alchemist in my first match using her.  Started off way in the negatives, at level 0, and then got enough xp to get halfway through level 1.  Which is odd since the same length of match on my other characters got them to level 4 (final room, dying at the "defend the banner" stage).

 

Only seems to have happened in that first match though, which is nice I guess?  Still, would be good to have this looked at.

Yeah this problems getting worse and worse for me, all my characters are getting negative xp now. (Necromancer and Reaver)

I had a game where every time I threw my elemental flasks on my alchemist they didn't land.  So they just kinda went up in the air and stayed there

If you got negative XP shouldn't your level be like -2?

You would think so, but it just zeroed out when I left that lobby. Thankfully, no negative levels (yet).

The end of match screen is harsh, scrutinizing mistress. It only wants to see you do better : )

 

Sorry to hear you all have run into these "negative xp" issues. We've got this bug squashed pending a future patch but in the meantime if you get to the end of match screen and see these negative XP values ticking up your lobby has gotten into a bad state and all future matches with the same players will have the same result. Exit the lobby and create a new one to resolve the issue ( or leave and quickmatch anew if you're not with a party ). Don't worry, you're not losing saved progress, you won't de-level, but you won't receive XP for the match you just completed.
