I'm really liking DAI so far but playing on Nightmare/FF I must admit I find myself wrestling with the camera as much as wrestling with the enemies. I need to be able to see what's going on and precisely position my party but it seems like the TacCam is chained at roughly head-height. And since you rotate the camera by holding down right mouse AND tell your guys to move by hitting right mouse it means you tend to give a move order to your selected character any time you rotate the camera.
Also you can't seem to select more than one character at a time.
Please. Please please please. Please oh god please let us zoom out the Tac Cam (and select multiple characters but thats less important). There doesn't seem a downside! Hell, make it a checkbox you have to check so people don't do it by accident. Make it something in an INI file you have to edit. Make us have to sacrifice live chickens and post the video on youtube I don't care just please god give us more reasonable camera controls in the Tac Cam.
Again, I'm really liking the out of combat stuff but wrestling with the camera is breaking immersion!
