Do they have a setting anywhere to disable that? It sometimes drops under 30fps and is annoying. Outside in normal gameplay I get around 80fps with everything on Ultra. The stuttering is killing me in conversations lol. Pretty game though! Hopefully Nvidia releases an even better driver than the one today.
Why's it locked to 30fps in conversations?

There's a reddit post here on exactly that. Although I should add that I don't have the game yet and can't vouch for it personally. But from the comments it seems to work ![]()
Edit: just saw this in the Twitter thread:
Looking for an official solution but try this: http://www.reddit.com/r/dragonage/comments/2mm319/dragon_age_inquisition_30fps_cutscene_framerate/ … … Some issues have been reported that may be caused by this

@BioMarkDarrah doing that causes issues with multiplayer. Be advised

That update was rubbish for telling me how to optimise the game

I mean how could you miss the choppy cut scenes?

I wonder if Bioware had actually played the PC version themselves before releasing it.
I mean how could you miss the choppy cut scenes?
They don't do anything after it goes gold. It's very very very LAZY.
Same goes for how ME3 had the face import glitch and the bucket-naked Awakening glitch.
They do not care for PC as much as they brag to.
I wish they bug-squash like Blizzard does.

Add this line to the DAI shorcut (Target)
-GameTime.MaxSimFps 60 -GameTime.ForceSimRate 60+
As far as I can gather, this is the engine's problem and apparently all frostbite games have this limitation
The above fix was and is for, I believe, Battlefield 4, but it will work with DAI
However note, the game crashed on me once--during the final cs on the tutorial. The screen went completely black and I had to hard shut down. But this is prior to the new NVIDIA's driver today (334.75)
My specs are 2x 760 2gb, i7 4770, 32gb ram
