PS4 player here only 1 problem so far.
My first character had a Female Hawke from the world upload (which did upload) and someone referred to the champion as "He"
Deleted the save and started a new one and it was correct the second time through.

People said Dark souls 1 was best played with a controller because Mouse and keyboard was a hot mess. I did fine...I'll do fine with this too.
It's nowhere near Dark Souls 1. It's just different from the previous games in the series and require a bit of customization in term of key binding.

Agreed. Once they fix the binds for mouse buttons this will be perfect. That are a lot of small things that help in game I don't think people have realized (myself included till recently thanks to another poster). For a melee character holding W while attacking an enemy that is moving will make your character do a short dash to keep up with them.
If PC's game PC controls are so bad it's easier to not use them at all, there is something really wrong
'Sides I don't have any 360 controller. I didn't buy this game to play a pseduo 360-version. If I wanted that I'd just buy 360 or PS4
There are a ton of pc games based around the controller mate. It's 2014 distributors and devs both want there PC games tied into the home entertainment system like console games are. A controller doesn't make it a 360 game. Paying for multiplayer makes them 360 games ![]()
That is not, never was and never will be an excuse for a clunky terrible PC controls for a game like DAThere are a ton of pc games based around the controller mate. No I'd rather movement was mapped to mouse also. And if they didn't want to map it to mouse open up key bind profiles so that we can map it to mouse. cause that'd probably of been done already lol.
Just saying that the idea that a game needs a kb/m setup to be a pc game is rather antiquated at this point.
You know you can just hold down your right mouse to auto attack right? you dont have to click .
And its bioware's fault that you cant wrap your head around the fact that space bar isnt the pause key anymore?
Have you ever played an MMO before, OP?
DAI is an mmo?

MMOs have autoloot/lootall and autoattack. ![]()
This is really uncomfortable. Since when DA series is a clickthemtodeath? You know you can just hold down your right mouse to auto attack right? you dont have to click .

One of the more baffling things I've read these days, that some people for some reason cannot adjust to a different control layout and blaming this on bioware.
WHILE THEY CAN CHANGE THE KEYMAPPINGS.
Mindblowing.
Poor PC controls have been pointed out by many players and critics over the last week. They really are not as good as they can be and definitely don't feel like a proper PC cRPG. The fact that a character won't close the distance between himself and an enemy is crazy. This makes playing melee classes a terrible chore. This has to be addressed with a patch asap.

Yep although not all do and also one aspect of the criticism about melee having to run up to enemies to attack, well mmos specifically have gap closers for such instances. From what I understand it sounds like DAI doesn't have gap closers.
It wouldn't be Dragon Age without the bugs. Also it seems novembers is the game of bugs too. Hopefully they'll patch the bugs by Friday. Then again, I only encountered one bug in the EA Access trial so hopefully the Xbox One isn't as buggy as PC.
The game is more actiony yeah... playing a mage or an archer is a lot better then melee when it comes to combat...
Yeah this is my impression as well. I don't like the combat, aside from this and bugs it's a pretty good game.
Ever heard of keybinding? If you do not like the default keys then change it to your liking..............................................

It controls and plays like an action game. If you accept that, it's fine. If not, it sucks. That's the basic summary.
