I'm done concerning myself with the opinions of hard headed BW-haters.

 

It wasa mistake to come back to theseforums at all.

 

Da:I has imperfections... tac cam sucks, and looting sucks, but if people are really mad about that, they need help.

DA:i is the best in the series IF (and only if) the story&characters live up. Its a great game and it makes me sad and ashamed of the gaming community to see them acting like 7 year olds over this.

 

Hopefully da:i sells well so I can see da4.

 

However.... I see that 30+ people liked OP though, so I guess it may be a vocal minority.

Either way. I give up trying to wrap my head around it. enjoy (or do not) da:i, ladies and gents.

Its crazy... Loot System... KB/M controll(wich you can customize if you want)...

 

Even if it doesnt end up better then Origins in my mind.... it doesnt has to... equal or an inch below would still be great..

 

but i have the feeling many here are very,very qick to judge the Game...   have made up their minds at the start of the Game.. almost none of them is even HALFWAY through it...

Da2 didn't even HAVE tac cam. you can pause without ever using it, so if people don't like it, don't use it..

It is such a mior gripe and people turning these minor things into "worst game evar burn the biowarez" are actually making me angry.

they dev this for 5 yrs and deliver a 200+ hr open world DA. they bring back companions. they fix the dialogue wheel. they introduce interactive banter. they address ALL THE CONCERNS and people still cry over MINOR blemishes.

I can't even come up with words to express.. I'm sorry BW, for having the worst following of people in the world.

Trolling on BioWare has been trendy ever since the ME3 ending debacle.

 

To be honest, they kind of deserved it then. However, that was a couple years ago and people just need to let it go. I think BW learned their lesson, and from what I've seen of this game so far, it's fantastic.

Enjoying it so far, I've played ME from 1 to 3, as well as the entire Da series.  Liked them all, though I will admit ME3 was a little to Cinematic in spots.

The ending was definitely not the ending I was expecting there, but the journey itself was still fantastic.  Provided Bioware didn't bork the ending of DAI, ME4 will still get a redemptive shot from me.  Unlike DAI, however, I won't preorder it.

That's pretty much my opinion too. If DA:I is a satisfying game from beggining to end, I may have to preorder ME4.

You must not actually be playing this game with a Keyboard and mouse.

I am, and it's no trivial thing to be shoo'ed away. It's game breaking. The simplest actions become quite difficult to do. And It was intentional. Bioware *deliberately* gave the left AND right mouse buttons the same singular purpose: to swing your weapon. And nothing else. You can no longer use your mouse to loot, or to move or to interact with objects, or to click on NPCs to talk to them or to do anything else that you COULD do in previous dragon age games. (and every other RPG) The end result is the stuff this game supposedly does really well (exploration, crafting etc) ends up being a hellaciously difficult chore. And no, there are no customization options to change this crap at all. And why should there be? The design was DELIBERATE.

Message to Bioware/EA: I *get* it. But NO, I will not run out to the store and buy an Xbox Controller, or any other Microsoft product just to 'alleviate the problem". Instead, I'll just quit playing your silly game and then I'll share my experience with anyone who has yet to buy this game out of fear of your well earned reputation.

the game is not a 10 but it is defintely playable and all the feels and lore the companions have given me is just fantastic. it is at the minimum above average.

 

besides, crazy people giving 0 are just blah. and there are so many 0 within a day of the game coming out in Metacritic.

 

no game deserves 0, especially not 1 with such extensive lore. oh by the Maker, i hope these people and may Andraste burn their sorry a**.

I'm not sure closing every thread where people have opinions that you don't share is a functional method of community minded development.

 

I definitely am not in the 0 Metacritic crowd, but I I disagree that this thread is full of trolls and haters. Sure, some opinions that have been voiced may have certain levels of extremism to them.

 

But its not functionally healthy for the BSN to shut down every thread where someone might say something that you don't agree with. Its not functionally healthy for the BSN to shut down every thread that questions the design of a game they made either....thats not a healthy designer/customer relationship.

 

Its also not healthy how the BSN core fanbase violently rejects any opinion that questions their status quo of BioWare doing everything awesome, all the time.

 

Sometimes you just have to say "I don't agree with what that person said..." and simply not post at all.

I feel like the only one that doesn't have a problem with the loot system. Lol I'm just glad there's animation to show the PC picking sh** up off the floor.

ok, i have not played the game so i don't know about it. but i have given that Justin Bieber movie 0 in all platforms (even though I have never watch it) because I am biased against him n the need troll him and put him down is real....

 

 

oh humanity... just because of ME3 and DA2, these trolls are putting down a great game without even completing it.

Mostly because of combat.

 

It is not unnoticable that Bioware wanted to make a more action packed Dragon Age sequel, which is fine. I guess. Anyway, what they should have done in that case is make a Mass Effect + Dragon Age hybrid, where you can shoot magic and arrows and stuff like that, or simply make a Dragon's Dogma clone or something similar. But they didn't, they made a single player MMORPG with trivial and boring button mashing combat and stuffed the game into Skyrim.

 

That is just my opinion though. To each their own.

Isn't the typical trend with Bioware games to have them be fairly simple (Aka Button Mashers with this kind of game) until a later point when difficulty forces a more tactical apporach?  For example in DAO you could get away with simple single character control until Orzammer on normal difficulty.

It doesn't help that the Mass Effect 3 ending controversy appeared to vindicate them. According to them, Real BioWare died long ago, and anyone who enjoys Fake BioWare's new games is essentially a moron who is blind to the obvious atrocities they have committed. It sickens me. I'm not offended easily, but this fanbase never fails to offend me, even when I brace myself for it. I knew people were going to complain about this game. I knew they were going to declare their disappointment. And yet, I'm still surprised that my expectations were right.

 

I'm glad that I don't hate Dragon Age II. I'm glad that I love Mass Effect 3. I'm glad that I will enjoy, and possibly love, Inquisition.

black flag was the shot i gave ubisoft, wasn't happy haven't bought anything since, don't bother going on forums for there games at all, i'm done with them. i feel no need to ****** about their products religiously every time they release a game.
