I don't suppose there's a mod to get rid of enemy Overwhelm?

Dog's Overwhelm is more fair, of course, since you only have one of him (Dog is very underrated in combat, by the way). It's the same issue that the archers have in DA:O with Scattershot. Leliana's version doesn't seem to do all that much, besides a quick stun followed by drawing a lot of unwanted threat to her, but when you're facing a large group of enemy archers and they all spam Scattershot, they can slaughter you if you don't use Group Heal ASAP.
Tbh, I think this post is really venting than anything else.

The reason Bioware gives for the Overwhelm and Scattershot spamming is that at higher levels, where you can have two Spirit Healers (or more if your Warden is a mage) and as many potions as you can afford it's hard to sufficiently challenge you due to your basically unlimited HP. And that's why healing was nerfed in Inquisition.
As for the mod, no idea. I just focus fire on anyone who tries this and pray my character outlives the enemy.

Don't know about a mod, but Shield Wall (plus Shield Expertise) and Indomitable can prevent unwanted Overwhelms.
(Seems I remembered wrong. That's why Oghren was on the floor. I thought he was drunk...)
Overwhelms can also be interrupted by stunning, freezing (a well placed cone of Cold), stone fist, shield bashing and pommel striking.
Personally I like the overwhelms. Makes the battle more intimate and creates a bit of drama as you smash your shield in that filthy werewolf who is chewing on Wynne's face. Or watching Dog rip off that Genlocks face. It was one of the few combat related things I missed from Dragon age 2. That and getting grabbed by Ogres.

Indomitable doesn't prevent it either.

The one thing to give you immunity to being overwhelmed is entering shifted form yourself as Shapeshifter. You're never overwhemed in Bear, Spider or Swarm Form.
It won't do you a lot of good if you're a rogue or warrior, of course.

That's pretty much what I do as well.

Overwhelm just tickles if your character is sufficiently armored. It's inconvenient but not fatal.
very true

Overwhelm solution is by having more health, just invest in constitution, should you or your party get overwhelm, will not die easily. The problem is only for min max character who don't invest in constitution at all and go all strength or or dexterity or all magic....
Indomitable or having high physical resistance is the solution for Scatter Shot stun effect (and any stun effect), of course you still damaged but not stunned. Two Handed Warrior will get Indomitable, but for the rest just increase physical resistance by investing in stats, using runes and items.
Shield Wall upgraded only prevent knockdown but not stun

There's no resistance check for scattershot, the only thing that can prevent it is indomitable.
For overwhelm (and grab, since they're basically the same ability), inflicting a stun or knockdown will prevent it, even if the monster in question is immune. E.g. shield bash will stop a dragon's overwhelm, even though you can't knock one down. And obviously any disable that they're not immune to will interrupt it as well.

Really? Well, at high level my character and party members are mostly having high physical resistance, so i don't notice anything

Misdirection Hex cast on an archer that uses scattershot will also cause it to miss.
