According to the FAQ, it's possible to import a world state from the Keep and then play offline. My save imports fine, but when I sign out of my XBL account and sign into my 360's hard drive profile, my save game is missing. How do I import my save and then play the game offline?

Steps for playing offline with an imported world state:

-Create world state in the Keep
-Set created world state for export in the Keep

-Boot up DAI while connected to the Internet and log in to the Keep
-Start a new game and import the world state
-Save game
-Disconnect from the Internet

-Boot up DAI again and load the save

I have done those steps. My save game is always missing when I sign out of Xbox Live. It's there when I sign back into XBL, but I don't want to play logged in.
