Now that release day has arrived, I'm hoping it's okay to talk about the newly released book. I'd pre-ordered my copy and it just arrived. I'm so very impressed with it that I had to come share what a beautiful book this is. It's full of the most gorgeous pictures, with drawings of everything from various stages of character development, including facial expressions, to weapons and armor, to individual doors and windows, to mounts, to the most expansive scenes that are, I'm guessing, turned into what we see in the game. It is light on text, sticking to mostly short descriptive passages, but there is the rare page that is a little longer. My one and only complaint about this fantastic book is that I'm so awed by it that, as much as I want to pore over every page, I'm very hesitant break the spine. It's just too beautiful and I don't want to accidentally mar any part. This is truly a collectible well worth the money, and I highly recommend that anyone with an interest in Dragon Age, video games, art or fantastical worlds get themselves a copy. With the holidays almost here, this would make the perfect gift, as well.
