Can Bioware please patch in free look (aka mouse look)

I don't know who had the great idea that we need to hold down a button to look around, but can we please just remove this feature and have it so moving the mouse rotates the camera like every other RPG of this genre has done for over a decade. It feels weird and cumbersome to hold a button just to see around you. 

 

The game seems great but constantly fighting with the cumbersome control system is really a downer.

Feedback/support forums is probably the better place to request a patch, more likely the correct people will see it there

If they make it a choice, sure :). But i actually rather want to have to push a button to move the camera(which aint unusual in games) since i dont want to move the camera by mistake when i try to click things etc.

It took me a long time to get used to this mechanic in SWTOR, but ahtf is right. Without it, SWTOR would be a nightmare to play while trying to click on specific targets with a mouse.

 

It's not a perfect mechanic, but once you get used to it, you'll be okay.
