Although I'm quite content with the looks of my Inquisitor I find the lack of this and other basic cosmetical features very disappointing and annoying. They gave us quarters in Skyhold but they are about as usefull as decaf. Just add a wardrobe and a mirror, would do so much for the whole gaming experience and should have been there right from the start.

+1

Can't see why this isn't already in the game. At LEAST let me change the makup and hair since it's even ACTUALLY realistically changeable.

Oh... and please let me change gender in the character creater before  a new game as well.

Oh... and save/export/import face models

Oh... and save faces WHILE I work on creating one, so I can do step by step changes and compare how it looks. Give me like 10 save slots or something.

Oh... and please let me pick different lighting scenarios while I'm creating a character. Inside/Outside/Cave/etc.

DAI... the brilliant game plagued by a thousand minor annoyances.

I would kill for alterations too. My character looks great in the CC, but the main game makes her look like a bloody oompaloompa. ._.

I'm honestly surprised this hasn't been added to the game by now O.o

Yeah, it's ridiculous. We really need to be able to change our appearance.

I doubt BioWare will officially do anything about this for quite awhile, maybe a few months or so. They are going to be focused on fixes for current features before adding new features. Hope I am wrong about that, though.

It's probably better off looking to the modding/hacking community for a fix. Once the save games get decrypted there will almost certainly be a save editor that will allow you to import/export faces, similar to Mass Effect. I think the guys with the cheat engine stuff are also working on something, and I'm sure the new mod tools will allow for something similar.

I actually restarted a 40+ hour game mainly just to change appearance (I justified it with some other stuff but it was the main reason)

Hopefully BioWare just adds in a mirror similar to DA2. Again, adding a feature like that might seem simple but I doubt they want to mess around with any new features that may break the game.

I started the game like dozens of times just to check different voices, classes or races and then go back and redo the whole character again, because the lighting in creator sucks. I don't know how many hours I wasted simply because the makeup or hair color were more bright from what I wanted. There should totally be some midgame editor since it's not the typical 30 hour-long Bioware game.

As long as Bioware releases an altering function eventually, honestly I don't mind waiting. Here's hoping.

So no way to transfer faces between saves ? I made a nice female rogue... and I'd like to use her face for a mage run. I won't recreate that in CC that's for sure. <_< Some kind of a face transfer tool would save a lot of trouble.

For now, only the screenshots will help...

My Inquisitor had green eyes with a lil bit of brown mixed into them, when I got to Skyhold (37 hours in) they suddenly turned neon yellow. I just wanna change my eye colour, is that so much to ask? :'(

I can't thank you enough for linking that mod and the creator of it.. I was going crazy with the buggy eyelash colour for my 2nd PT character, I had almost given up playing but didn't want to reroll after investing so much time... Now I fixed it. Have some cookies!
