You guys are having some serious bug/graphic issues on the 360 too, right? It's not just me thinking I got a bad copy and thinking I'll have to go and spend a crap load of money for an Xbox One?

Overall things seem to be going well for me, but I have noticed several glitchy animations, and am having trouble with the In the Elements quest. Have completed, go to talk to the guy, and nothing happens. I still have the quest, it tells me to talk to him, and he just spouts a casual sentence, leaving me stuck in the quest.

they are NOT issues xD its the worst port made ever for a previous gen console xDDD

you can read the forums, pc controls optimization fails, bugs and crashes in all platforms, oldgen textures and system behaviours are awesome with popping, lack of textures sometimes and more.. xD

Do Xbox 360 users also have audio video sync issues? I have a PS3 digital copy and the whole game is off from roughly 0.5-1.5 seconds and it's distracting :(

I've got a 360 and can't converse with companions because it freezes.

No, you aren't the only one.
I'm a few hours into the game, and so far it's been pretty abysmal.
The cutscene in Haven, just before the Dragon Age: Inquisition title logo pops up, is atrocious. I've never experienced such horrible lag and tearing in a video game.
I highly doubt I can sit through 60+ hours of that.

It's so bad that I'm seriously considering setting aside all rationality and dropping the money to buy a PS4 so I can actually play this game.

Why the hell can't you install the play disk??? This poses big overheating problems for original 360 owners like myself!

I would actually like to be able to turn off the auto-attack, so I can actually move--my mage is pretty much immobile due to being stuck in attack mode.

Totally understand. It's horrible, the no installation for the second disc, companions voices are off, ect. The only thing I'm wondering now is the old fashioned 'PS4 vs Xbox One' now. Just gotta sell a organ first.

I have to say that it's not been that bad.  Yes, the textures are awful when compared to the XBONE version and there are a ton of really late pop ups and the customization options are limited (no scars or freckles).  But I haven't had any major lag or crashing.  I haven't run across any bugs.  I've started four characters and got my main up to level 6 in the hinterlands (about 5 hours of gameplay at this point).  The only lag that I've run across is in the CC, when I go test the voice.

I would like the option to install the play disc, so that's annoying.

The only big issue that I ran across so far was in MP, when I tried to load a game and was looking at the load screen for about 1 1/2 mins, while my teammates were all able to go already.  Then, when the load screen finally went away, I was frozen with no option to bring up the menu, no skills, and no ability to move (even though I could see the outlines of my teammates all fighting off in the distance.  I ended up just having to restart.

Major issues with Xbox 360 graphics, sound lag, tactical camera (freezes screen or cannot change characters), and general timing (action delays). For DA:O and DA:II, how long did it take Bioware to start patching (DA:O on XBox 360 still has multiple bugs).

Ive got a solution. As Im totally new to the Dragon Age games, Ill just play the first two ones on my 360 slim first. By the time Im finished with them, hopefully Ill have saved enough to buy a PS4 (yes, im defecting! )!

The text is the biggest problem. I have to put my face right next to the screen to most of it. Having to get up constantly is BS. Yes I am lazy but that osn't the point

I have run into the logo glitch as well as several console freezes and points where the audio randomly gets sped/glitched. I tried reaching out to the Dragon Age team on Twitter twice, but I got no reply.

I also got this game for the xbox 360 and holy crap! Multiplayer has many bugs such as players not being able to move their camera with the right thumbstick, vases being smashed and reappearing instead of dropping loot, and lag galore. As for the campaign, well, I can't say much about that because after my first save and stop (when I went to bed after playing the first day) I could no longer play the campaign mode. Every time I click continue or go into Load and choose a saved file, it loads the cards screen, then goes to the black screen with loading symbol on the bottom right, then it completely freezes and crashed my entire xbox until I have to shut it down. I've tried for days, and I got this game at the midnight release. I am stuck in the Hinterlands and cannot play the campaign anymore. I've been playing multiplayer instead, thinking there was something wrong with my disc or my xbox itself until I heard that others were having the same issues. This is rediculous! If you're not going to make a game that works on xbox 360, make it next gen only instead of wasting people's time and money. I'm so pissed off right now, if I knew this was going to be an issue I'd have saved up for an X1 before the game came out instead of having to dodge spoilers from players who've gotten further than me just because I can't get back into my game.

Sad thing is this is the case with most games that have been being released in the last 3,4 years, since Online has blown up to be oh so big now, it seems most developers release products with many issues that are not resolved and fix them as we play and complain on boards like this. kinda sad

Well, it's "that" bad for me. I have an unplayable game... Crashes at predictable locations & as you get deeper in the game crashes every 15 min or so... Often less.

I'm going to get a new disk when I can get to town & am also going to reinstall... I've done everything else. But for now, no game & this didn't happen until well into it.

Two characters, everything fine until 20+ hours or so... A lot of time to invest to not be able to go further.

Here are the crash points which are consistent that I've found so far:

- consistent crash in hinterlands at the entrance to the dwarven ruins after the camp (if anyone at Bioware is playing attention I can look up more specifics.

- consistent crash after leaving the Haven apothecary

- consistent crash trying to go to the storm coast, sometimes before choosing party, sometimes after. Party member change up makes no difference. The storm coast never loads.

- occassional, rare, other crashes for me since I never saved after a crash, but my poor husband did, & now his game is a major disappointment.

Is Inquisition's current state in any way acceptable for a new, full price release? I don't believe so, not by a long shot. I swear it's the ugliest and most glitchy Dragon Age yet, which is rather pathetic, all things considered. I have other major, more subjective gripes, that may stop me playing it altogether, but even without that, DA:I's a veritable clusterf---, er, mess. I think the IP would've been better served had they not bothered with last gen versions, as they don't appear to have much effort into them.

Oh, and not being able to install the play disc is intensely annoying considering I have one of the older 360's (not the earliest, noisiest, but it still sounds like a jet just about to take off even when I'm using headphones).

i'm on the slightly newer xbox360 with the r2d2 theme... and luckily there hasn't been any crashes... the texture though... simply put it is only upto around the level of DA:O. or, occasionally, worse.

what bugs me is that why for the love of god bioware doesn't allow xbox 360 users to manually install game disc files in home screen just like on most if not all xbox games... and instead went with a mandatory installer on the installation disc while disabling the install option on the game detail in the home screen... slightly baffling? limit on file size available by xbox maybe...? anyways maybe i'm just overthinking it...

No scars makes no sense!

They have tweeted that scars were sacrificed so the game would fit in old gen.
